WARNING:

stood the hazards involved.
• Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an
authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly quali-
fied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
CAUTION:
Do not immerse the appliance into water for cleaning. Please fol-
low the instructions as stipulated in the chapter "Cleaning".

Intended Use

This appliance serves as a coffee grinder or a dicer.
Only use the appliance for chopping of food. It is designed
for the processing of small quantities.
It is intended for the use in private households and similar
applications.
It may only be used in the manner described in the instruc-
tions for use.
Any other use is not considered as use in accordance with
the requirements and may lead to material damages or
even to personal injuries.
The manufacturer accepts no liability under any circum-
stances for damages whatsoever resulting from improper
use.

Unpacking the Appliance

1. Remove the appliance from the package.
2. Remove all packaging material such as films, filler, cable
holders and cardboard.
3. Check the delivery contents for completeness.
4. Should the package contents be incomplete or damages
be found, do not take the appliance into operation. Take
it immediately back to the dealer.

NOTE:
Dust or production residues can be located on the appli-
ance. We recommend to clean the appliance as described
under "Cleaning".

Assembly of the Appliance

1. Place a container onto the appliance base. Observe the
guides (2) in the appliance base.
2. Press the container downwards and simultaneously
tighten it in clockwise direction. It must audibly engage.
3. Close the appliance with the lid. Ensure that it sits in the
guide (1).
