Function
The central unit is used to control and
manage your SmartHome devices and is an
essential part of the setup required to use
your SmartHome system. The central unit
saves the settings and configurations of
the individual devices along with any profi-
les that have been created. This ensures
that local control is properly supported
even if the connection between the central
unit and data centre fails.
Hazard warning
• Do not open the central unit. It does not
contain any parts to be serviced by the
user. If a fault occurs, please contact our
Customer Service.
• Only operate the device indoors. Avoid
the influence of humidity, dust, sunlight
and other heat radiation.
• In order to prevent damage to the
device, only use the original power pack
included in delivery for supplying power.

Commissioning
1 To use the central unit as a free-standing
device, mount the supplied stand on the
rear of the central unit. To do this, slide
the stand into the grooves on the rear of
the central unit until the stand will go no
further.
To mount the central control unit on a
wall, drill two holes with a diameter of 5
mm into the wall, leaving a gap of 129
mm between them.
2 First, insert the dowels into the drilled
holes and then screw the screws into the
dowels until approximately 1.5 mm is
left protruding. Drag the central unit
over the screw heads downwards until it
is firmly attached.
3 Connect the central unit to a free port on
your internet router using the enclosed
network cable.
4 Connect the connector power pack inclu-
ded in delivery to the central unit and
plug it into an easily accessible 230V
socket.
