Gebruik
Schakel uw soldeerstation nooit direct in nadat het van een koude in een warme
ruimte is overgebracht. Het condensvocht dat hierbij ontstaat, kan onder ongunstige
omstandigheden een defect aan uw soldeerstation veroorzaken.
Laat het apparaat eerst uitgeschakeld op kamertemperatuur komen.
Let daarbij op voldoende ventilatie van de behuizing tijdens de bedrijfsfase. Dek het
apparaat gedurende deze tijd nooit af.
Plaats het soldeerstation op een zeer moeilijk ontvlambare ondergrond, zodat de
lucht ongehinderd in de behuizing kan stromen.
Het soldeerstation mag niet op een vochtige plek staan en niet blootgesteld worden
aan neerslag, spatwater, stof of continu direct zonlicht.
Voorkom hoge mechanische belastingen en plaats het apparaat niet op een instabiele
ondergrond. Als het apparaat valt, kunnen mensen gewond raken.
Wanneer de originele soldeerstandaard LA 50 wordt gebruikt, moet de soldeerbout
tot aan de aanslag in de aflegstandaard worden geschoven.
De soldeerbout bereikt temperaturen van 150°C tot 450°C. Aanraking van de
metalen soldeerboutdelen kan ernstige brandwonden veroorzaken bij mens en dier!
Onderhoud
Controleer regelmatig de technische veiligheid van het soldeerstation, bijv. beschadi-
gingen aan de netspanningskabel of de behuizing.
Wanneer kan worden aangenomen dat een veilig gebruik van het apparaat niet
meer mogelijk is, dan moet het worden uitgeschakeld en worden beveiligd tegen
onopzettelijk gebruik. Stekker uit het stopcontact verwijderen!
Er mag worden aangenomen dat het apparaat niet meer veilig te gebruiken is, wan-
neer:
- er beschadigingen aan het apparaat zichtbaar zijn,
- het apparaat niet meer functioneert en
- het gedurende langere tijd onder ongunstige omstandigheden is opgeslagen of
- na zware transportbelastingen.

Instructions for Use
In order to ensure that the device is used properly and as intended,
please be sure, before using the device, to read through these
Operating Instructions and Safety Instructions carefully and
completely
1. Setting up
First the device must be set up at your workplace and connected to a 230V mains
socket. The plug from the soldering iron must then be inserted in the DIN socket
located on the front of the station. The solder sponge must be laid in the stand and
moistened.
2 Switching on
The soldering station can be switched on by means of the „MAINS" switch. The
processor then performs a segment test, i.e. all 108 segments are activated for
approximately two seconds.
This is followed by the heat-up phase. The soldering iron heats up until it reaches the
setpoint temperature in effect just before the device was switched off the last time.
The LCD shows the current actual temperature in the main display section and the
„power" bar-chart (which can be disabled) indicates the heat being supplied to the
soldering iron; (see Figure 1). As soon as the setpoint temperature is reached, the
soldering iron is maintained constant at this temperature.
3. Adjusting the setpoint temperature with the „+" / „-" keys
The setpoint temperature can be adjusted inter alia by means of the „+" and „-" keys.
As soon as one of these keys is pressed, the main display section (see Figure 1)
changes to show the setpoint temperature. This setpoint temperature can then be
jogged up or down in steps of 1° each time the key in question is pressed. If the key
is pressed and held down, the setpoint temperature is incremented / decremented
initially in 1° steps for the first 10 digits and then subsequently in 10° steps. As soon
as the desired value is reached, the key must be released.
