Gebrauchsanweisung vor Inbetrieb-
nahme sorgfältig durchlesen.
Wichtig
• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an
Wechselspannung (Ù) an und prüfen
Sie, ob Ihre Netzspannung mit der
Spannungsangabe auf dem Gerät
übereinstimmt.
•
Achten Sie darauf, dass das
Gerät nicht nass wird.
• Wenn der Haartrockner in einem
Badezimmer verwendet wird, ist
nach Gebrauch der Stecker zu zie-
hen, da die Nähe von Wasser eine
Gefahr darstellt, auch wenn der
Haartrockner ausgeschaltet ist.
• Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die
Installation einer Fehlerstrom-Schutz-
einrichtung (RCD) mit einem Bemes-
sungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr
als 30 mA im Badezimmer-Strom-
kreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren
Installateur um Rat.
• Bei Überlastung – zum Beispiel
durch Verdecken der Luftansaug-
bzw. der Auslassöffnungen mit
Fusseln und Haaren – schaltet sich
der Haartrockner aus und nach einer
Abkühlzeit von wenigen Minuten
wieder ein. Um ein unbeaufsichtigtes
Wiedereinschalten zu vermeiden,
stellen Sie den Schalter auf «0»
= aus.
• Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht
um das Gerät. Überprüfen Sie es
gelegentlich auf Schadstellen. Ist
das Netzkabel beschädigt, muss es
durch eine vom Hersteller benannte
Reparaturwerkstatt ersetzt werden,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

betätigen Sie die Taste für die Kalt-
stufe.

Ionen-Funktion
Die FuturPro Ion-Care Technologie
produziert einen Strom negativer
Ionen, die von den positiven Ionen im
Haar angezogen werden und diese
neutralisieren. Die negativen Ionen
wirken unmittelbar anti-statisch. Das
Haar wird dadurch besser kämmbar
und leichter zu stylen. Es sieht insge-
samt geschmeidig, glänzend und
gesünder aus.
a) Schieben Sie den Ionen-Schalter (4)
auf die «on»-Position. Nach dem
Einschalten des Haartrockners
leuchtet der Ionen-Schalter und
zeigt an, dass Ionen erzeugt
werden.
b) Um optimale Ergebnisse mit der
Ionen-Funktion zu erzielen, benut-
zen Sie den Haartrockner ohne
Aufsatz.
c) Die Wirkung der Ionen ist bei Anwen-
dung in einer Umgebung mit hoher
Luftfeuchtigkeit weniger sichtbar.
Optimales Styling mit der Ionen-
Funktion
• Wenn Sie die Haare mit einem
Aufsatz trocknen, nehmen Sie für das
Stylen den Aufsatz ab, um mit dem
maximalen Ionenstrom das Haar ge-
schmeidiger, glänzender und gesün-
der aussehen zu lassen.
• Der Ionenstrom des FuturPro
Ion-Care ist so stark, dass Sie Ihr
Haar auch «ionisieren» können, ohne
den Luftstrom direkt auf das Haar zu
richten. So können Sie eine bereits
gestylte Frisur anschließend «ionisie-
ren», um dem Haar zusätzlich Ge-
schmeidigkeit und Glanz zu verleihen.
Luftstromrichtdüse
Für gezieltes Styling benutzen Sie die
Luftstromrichtdüse.

Carefully read the use instructions
before use.
Important
• Plug your hairdryer into an alternat-
ing current (Ù) outlet only and be sure
that your household voltage corre-
sponds to the voltage marked on the
hairdryer.
•
• When using the hairdryer in a bath-
room, always unplug it after use. Even
a switched-off hairdryer presents a
hazard if not unplugged.
• For additional protection, it is
advisable to install a residual current
device (RCD) with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding
30 mA in the electrical circuit of your
bathroom. Ask your installer for
advice.
• Care should be taken not to block
the inlet and outlet grill when the
hairdryer is switched on. If either grill
becomes blocked, the hairdryer will
automatically cut out. After cooling
for a few minutes, it will switch back
on automatically.
• Do not wrap the mains cord around
the appliance. Regularly check the
mains cord for wear or damage,
particularly where it enters the pro-
duct and the plug. If you have any
doubt about its condition take the
appliance to your nearest Braun
Service Centre for checking/repair.
The mains cord of the appliance may
only be replaced by an authorised
Braun Service Centre. Unqualified
repair work can lead to extreme
hazards for the user.

Cold shot
To fix a style with cold air, press the
cold shot button.
Long-life filter
Regularly wipe the filter clean. For a
thorough cleaning, remove the filter
and clean it under running water.
Ionic function
The FuturPro Ion-Care technology
produces a flow of negative ions that
are attracted by the positive ions in
the hair, thus neutralizing them. The
negative ions have an immediate anti-
static and conditioning effect, making
the hair more manageable and better
aligned, and leaving it smooth, shiny
and healthy looking.
a) Slide the ion activator 4 to the
«on» position. When hairdryer is in
operation, the ion activator lights up
to show that ions are generated.
b) To obtain optimal results with the
ionic function, use the hairdryer
without attachments.
c) The effect of ions is less apparent
when used in high humidity
environment.
Optimal styling with the ionic
function
• If drying with attachment, finish
styling without attachment to
ensure maximum flow of ions and a
smoother, shinier, healthier looking
result.
• Due to the superior flow of ions,
FuturPro Ion-Care is able to ionize
without directing the air stream
directly to the hair. So, having set
your style in place you can still ionize
and obtain a smooth, shiny and
healthy looking finish, without de-
stroying your hairstyle.
