(h) In the case of some mobile telephones, a headset symbol will now appear on the display. You should
now be able to make calls with the Bluetooth hands-free device.
IMPORTANT:
If pairing is not successful within 2 minutes, the Bluetooth hands-free device switches off automatically and
the green LED goes out. In this case, repeat steps (c) to (h).
Connecting the Bluetooth hands-free system to the mobile telephone:
After successful completion of the pairing process, the Bluetooth hands-free device switches automatically
to standby mode. Before a call can be made or received, if no headset symbol is shown on the mobile
telephone's display, follow the following simple steps in order to activate the Bluetooth connection via your
mobile telephone or Bluetooth hands-free device.
(1) Via the mobile telephone: select "Car Kit" from the list of Bluetooth devices shown on the display.
(2) Via the Bluetooth hands-free device: press the multifunction button and select "Accept" on your mobile
telephone display.
IMPORTANT:
If the Bluetooth connection is interrupted or ended at any time, e.g. by switching off the Bluetooth
hands-free device or going out of range (maximum 10 metres), the connection should be restored as
suggested above.
Ending the connection between the Bluetooth hands-free system and the mobile telephone:
(a) Switch off the Bluetooth hands-free device.
(b) Select "Disconnect" from the list on your mobile telephone to end the connection.
Using the Bluetooth hands-free device:
After pairing has been successfully completed, you can use the following functions:
(a) Answering a call:
To answer a call, wait until the Bluetooth hands-free device rings. Then press the multifunction button
to accept the call, or accept it using your mobile telephone. You will now hear a short 'beep'.
(b) Ending a call:
Press the multifunction button to end a call. You will now hear a short 'beep'.
(c) Rejecting calls:
Press and hold the multifunction button for 3 seconds until you hear a short 'beep'.
(d) Voice Dialling:
If your mobile telephone is equipped with a voice dialling function, press the multifunction button until
you hear a short 'beep'. Now dictate the number.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that your mobile telephone's voice dialling function is activated. This
function can only be used by mobile telephones with a Bluetooth hands-free profile. The functionality
depends on your mobile telephone model.
(e) Repeat dialling:
In standby mode: Press the multifunction button twice in quick succession.
(f) Volume control:
You can change the volume during a telephone call by means of the volume control (3).

Care and maintenance:
(a) Avoid direct contact with fluids or moisture. The device is not watertight.
(b) Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents.
(c) Do not expose the Bluetooth hands-free device to high temperatures.
(d) To avoid damage, keep the Bluetooth hands-free device away from sharp objects.
(e) Do not insert anything into the Bluetooth hands-free device, otherwise components could be
damaged.
