• To change the settings, tap the menu symbol in the upper right of the app (three
horizontal lines above each other) and then on "Setting".
Here you can select your country and other settings, like changing the telephone
number. It's also possible to calibrate the tester, among other things. To do this, tap
the "Calibration" button.
Please note, however, that you need to consume alcohol for the calibration!
• When you're ready, tap "START".
The sensor warms up for about 10 seconds.
• When you are directed to do so, blow for about 3 to 5 seconds into the sensor open-
ing on the front of the alcohol tester.
When you have blown sufficiently into the sensor, "Blow detected" is shown on the
display.
Depending on the device and setting, your smartphone may also vibrate briefly
when enough air has flowed into the sensor.
• The result is shown in the circle. To convert it into per mille, you only need to shift
the decimal one place to the right. I.e., "0.05%BAC" is 0.5 per mille.
Changing the Battery
• When the alcohol tester can no longer be turned on, the batteries must be changed.
• To do this, slide the battery cover on the underside of the device to the side slightly
until it opens. The arrow shows the direction in which you need to slide it.
• Replace the battery (AAA). When inserting it, make sure that the polarity is correct.
The positive terminal is on the cover that you previously slid off.
• Now shut the cover again and lock it.
• Thereby the battery replacement is completed.

Maintenance and Cleaning
The product is maintenance-free. Maintenance or repair work may be performed only
by qualified personnel or a specialised repair shop. The product contains no parts that
require servicing. Therefore, do not open it.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions, since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Disposal
a) Product
Electrical and electronic products do not belong in the household waste.
Dispose of the product in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
Remove any inserted battery and dispose of it separately from the product.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries
and rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries contain harmful materials and are labelled
with the symbol shown to indicate that disposal in the household waste
is forbidden. The symbols of the critical heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium,
Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable
battery, e.g., underneath the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official
collection points of your community, in our stores, or at places where batteries or
rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
