Power LED floodlight with PIR, 25.5 W

Intended use
The product is intended as a light source for outdoor use. The integrated PIR motion
detector reacts to temperature changes in the detection range (e.g. when a person
enters the range) and activates the LED floodlight for a settable time period.
Please follow all safety instructions!
Any other than the intended use described above might result in product damage and
furthermore cause hazards such as electric shock. The product as a whole must not
be modified or altered!
This product complies with the statutory national and European requirements. All
company names and product names are trademarks of their respective owners. All

Symbols and markings
The symbol with the flash in a triangle indicates a risk to your health, e.g.
from electric shock.
This symbol informs you about specific risks when handling, operating or
using the product.
The "arrow" symbol indicates special remarks and notes for operation.
Keep a minimum distance between the light aperture and illuminated
0.5m
surfaces (e.g. inflammable objects). The corresponding minimum dis-
tance is indicated on the light (in the illustration on the right, the mini-
mum distance is 0.5 m).
The product is not dimmable.
Follow the user manual!
Safety instructions
F irst read the complete operating instructions as they contain important
information on the proper installation and use of the product.
I n case of damage caused by non-observance of these operating instruc-
tions, the warranty gets void! We are not liable for any consequential dam-
age!
W e are not liable for property damage or injuries caused by improper use
or non-observance of safety instructions! Such circumstances will void the
warranty!
Caution!
H ave the product installed by a qualified expert (e.g. electrician) who is
familiar with all applicable regulations (e.g. VDE)!
W hen handling mains voltage improperly, you will not only endanger your-
self but also others!
I f you do not have the relevant expert knowledge, do not install the product
yourself, but have it done by an expert.
a) General
• Due to safety and approval concerns (CE) the product must not be modi-
fied and/or altered without authorization.
• This product is not a toy, keep it out of the reach of children. There is a risk
of lethal electric shock!
• If you have reason to believe that the device can no longer be operated
safely, disconnect it immediately (unscrew the fuse or turn off the circuit
breaker/residual current operated circuit breaker) and secure it against
unintentional operation by others. Then have the product be checked by
an expert.
Safe operation is no longer guaranteed when:
- the product shows obvious damage
- the product does not work properly or at all (flickering light, emitting
smoke or smell of burning, audible crackling noise, discoloration of the
product or adjacent surfaces)
- the product has been stored under adverse conditions
- if the product was damaged during transport.
• Never point (e.g. for cleaning purposes) water from a garden hose or high-
pressure cleaner etc. at the product!
• Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention reg-
ulations for electrical systems and equipment of the government safety
organization or the corresponding authority for your country.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended, as children could use it as a
toy creating hazardous situations.
• If you have any further questions that have not been considered in these
operating instructions, please contact us or any other expert.
b) Installation
• The product features a class IP55 design and may hence be installed and
operated indoors and outdoors.
The product is designed for outdoor use but may not be operated in or
under water!
• Do not use the product in rooms or under adverse ambient conditions,
where combustible gas, smoke or dust are or could be present! There is a
risk of explosion!
• Handle the product with care, it hat sharp corners.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or
strong mechanical stress.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not pinched, bent, damaged by sharp
edges.
• Do not attach any objects (e.g. decorative material) to the product; there
is a risk of fire!
• Keep a minimum distance between the light aperture and illuminated sur-
faces. See the markings on the product and chapter "Symbols and mark-
ings".
c) Connection
• Operate the product with mains voltage only (see chapter "Technical
data"). Never attempt to operate the product with other voltage.
On the installation side, an all-pole disconnecting device from the mains
voltage must be installed (i.e. residual current operated circuit breaker).
• The product features a protection class I design; the protective ground
wire must be connected.
If there is no power cable with protective ground wire available at the
installation site, the product must not be connected/used there. In this
case, install a new mains cable with protective ground conductor.
• Install the product only when the power is turned off. Disconnect the
power cable at all poles from the power supply by removing the appropri-
ate circuit fuse or switching off the circuit breaker. Secure them against
unauthorized restart, e.g. by installing a warning sign.
Use a suitable measurement device to check the power cable for absence
of voltage before connection.
• The product is not dimmable.
• Make sure that all electrical connections and connecting cables are in
compliance with standards and the respective operating instructions.
