2. INTENDED USE

The purpose of this digital thermo-hygro monitor is to measure the ambient temperature and humidity, calculate
the probability of indoor mould formation and indicate through 5 arrows. The device sends an alarm if humidity
or temperature exceed and/or drop below the relevant limits. In the case of mould formation, the device recom-
mends corresponding heating or ventilation of the room. The device can be table or wall-mounted. The device
is operated with two AA batteries.
The HygroCube 100 also has a VOC sensor for determining the indoor air quality. Voltage is supplied to the
sensor via an external mains adapter that is included in the delivery.
VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are gases with carbon compounds, e.g. alcohol, aldehyde, amine, etc;
gases that are primarily transpired and/or produced by living beings.
A very high concentration of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) is mostly the cause for uneasiness or fatigue
and reduces concentration and performance.
Please read the operating instructions carefully and keep them. If you pass the product on to a third party,
please hand over these operating instructions as well.
Use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product. Always observe the safety instructions
and all other information included in these operating instructions!
