PS3™ Controller Charging Station
Item-No. 90 30 02
Intended use
This charging station features 2 direct plug-in positions for one PS3™ Controller respectively. In
addition, this charging station has 2 USB connections where two further PS3™ Controllers can
be charged via the two delivered USBs on mini USB cables. Thus, up to 4 PS3™ controllers can
be charged.
The voltage for this charging station is supplied via the mini USB connection on the rear side
which is directly connected to a USB port of the PS3™ or via the plug-in power supply provided.
The charging station and the power supply unit are only suitable for use in dry indoor locations.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instruction must be followed at all times.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
Explanation of the Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of elec-
tric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling, oper-
ation and control.
The „Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.

Safety Instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage by failure to observe these
safety instructions! We do not assume liability for consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The charging station and the plug-in power supply must not be modified or
converted, as not only the CE approval will become void but also the war-
ranty.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare hands. Use pro-
tective gloves.
• The voltage for this charging station is supplied via the mini USB connec-
tion on the rear side, which is directly connected to a USB port of the PS3™
or via the plug-in power supply provided.
• Please note that a simultaneous charging of 4 PS3™ controllers is only pos-
sible when the provided power supply unit is connected. However, if the
rear side mini USB connection of the charging station is directly connected
to the PS3™, only a maximum of 2 PS3™ Controllers can be charged on the
plug-in positions at the front side.
• The charging station and the power supply unit must not be exposed to
extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration, humidity or heavy
mechanical stress.
• After a rapid change in temperature, the charging station and the plug-in
power supply require some time to adjust to the new ambient temperature.
Wait until the charging station and the power supply unit have adjusted to
the ambient temperature before use.
• The charging station is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of chil-
dren!
• Please contact a qualified specialist, if you are unsure about the correct use
of the product or regarding the safety.
• The power supply unit has a USB connection. Never connect this USB con-
nection to your PC, laptop or the PS3™. This connection only serves as
connection between the rear-side mini USB connection of the charging sta-
tion and the USB connection on the plug-in power supply via mini USB on
USB cable.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic
film/bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of
suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period
of time
or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.

Notes on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed by chil-
dren or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause chemical burns on contact
with the skin, if suitable protective gloves are not used.
• Make sure that batteries/accumulators are not short-circuited, disassembled or thrown into a
fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable bat-
teries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the product is not to be used for a longer period (e.g. storage), remove the inserted batter-
ies or rechargeable batteries. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the product, which
will lead to the loss of the warranty/guarantee!
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read
the chapter „Disposal".
Connection and start-up
• Connect the power supply unit provided to the rear-side mini USB connection of the charging
station and then connect the power supply unit to a proper domestic socket in order to ensure
the simultaneous charging of up to 4 PS3™ Controllers. Alternatively, connect the mini USB
connection on the rear side to a free USB port of the PS3™ to enable a simultaneous charg-
ing of up to 2 PS3™ Controllers.
• Plug one or two PS3™ Controllers into the plug-in positions at the front.
• If required, plug two further PS3 Controllers into the charging station using the mini USB on
USB cables provided (observe the above information of chapter „Connection and Start-up").
• During the charging process, the two front side plug-in positions are flashing in blue (integrat-
ed status LED). The two USB connections installed on the side also have a LED, which lights
in blue while the charging is in process.
• Once the accumulators of the PS3 Controller are fully charged, the two plug-in positions on the
front side light in green. The same applies to both status LEDs of the USB connections on the
side.
Maintenance and Cleaning
There are no parts requiring maintenance in this product. Therefore, never open the charging
station and the plug-in power supply.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Clean the charging station very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any aggres-
sive cleaning agents.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.
• The charging station and the power supply unit are only suitable for use in
dry indoor locations.
• Ensure that no sources of magnetism or electro-magnetism or heat sources
are in the vicinity of the product.
• Do not expose the product to any mechanical stress. Falls from low heights
and pressure can damage the device.
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified
specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical service or another specialist.
Please note that a simultaneous charging of 4 PS3™ controllers is only
possible when the provided power supply unit is connected.
However, if the rear side mini USB connection of the charging station is
directly connected to the PS3™, only a maximum of 2 PS3™ Controllers can
be charged in the plug-in positions at the front side.
