Install the top section containing the electronics of the Water Foun-
tain on the water reservoir. Stow the pump in the rear section of the
water reservoir. Place the Water Fountain on a firm, water-proof
surface. Make sure that the pump is installed with the suction ope-
ning pointing downwards. Fit the water hose into the water inlet of
the top section. Fill the water reservoir with cold water until the
suction opening of the pump is completely under the level of the
water.
Important!
Only fill the water reservoir with clean, cold water (ideally di-
stilled water). Dirt can clog the pump and cause irreparable da-
mage. Select the location where you are placing the Water Fo-
untain so that within a diameter of approx. 0.5m there are no
devices or objects which may be effected by water. Never ope-
rate the pump without water.
Set the ON/OFF switch on the back panel of the Water Fountain to
ON. The pump will run for about 20 to 30 seconds. For the pump to
restart, a noise threshold must be exceeded, for example, by clap-
ping your hands.
To switch off the Water Fountain, set the ON/OFF switch on the
back panel to OFF.

Handling and maintenance

Change the water of the Water Fountain from time to time.
For cleaning the exterior of the device only use a soft, damp clea-
ning rag. The electronics and the battery compartment must be
kept away from water at all times. Never use corrosive or abrasive
agents or solvents for cleaning the device.
