GETTING STARTED
Setting up/mounting the solar module
• T he surface of the solar module (the dark side of the solar module) should be directed verti-
cally toward the sun foroptimal power output.
P lace the solar module so that it stands in a sunny, unshaded place. The solar module is
suitable for outdoor operation and can also remain outdoors when it is raining.
• T he solar module can be mounted permanently through the openings on the corners. Use
appropriate screws and, if necessary, plugs.
Connecting the solar module to the power station
• U nwind the cable of the solar module and
connect the polarised plug with the corresponding
socket on the power station.
• P lace the cable so that nobody can trip over it.
Protect the cable from sharp edges.
Setting up the power station
• Place the power station on a flat, level surface.
P rotect the power station from humidity and dampness. The power station is not
suited for outdoor use!
• T he power station can be hung up through the large hole in the handle e.g. with a stable
rope or a hook.
Charging the rechargeable battery
• First, connect the solar module to the power station, see above.
• T hen switch on the power station with the " " switch. The "Working" LED lights up (if the
internal rechargeable battery is already sufficiently charged).
T he "Charging" LED lights up if the solar module delivers enough power (in sufficient
sunlight) to charge the battery.
T he 5 LEDs on the lower edge of the control panel show the charge status of the recharge-
able battery. The more LEDs are lit, the more the rechargeable battery is charged.
W hen the power station is switched off, the rechargeable battery does not charge.
Therefore, always make sure to turn the power station on when the battery needs to be
charged.
Connecting USB devices, charging function
• S witch on the power station with the " " switch. The "Working" LED lights up (if the internal
rechargeable battery is already sufficiently charged).
T he 5 LEDs on the lower edge of the control panel show the charge status of the recharge-
able battery. The more LEDs are lit, the more the rechargeable battery is charged.
• T he two LED ports provide power for corresponding consumers, e.g. for charging a mobile
phone.
O ne USB connection delivers an exit current of 1 ampere maximum, whereas the other
delivers a max. of 2 ampere. See the label above each USB connection.
Using LED light
• S witch on the power station with the " " switch. The "Working" LED lights up (if the internal
rechargeable battery is already sufficiently charged).
T he 5 LEDs on the lower edge of the control panel show the charge status of the recharge-
able battery. The more LEDs are lit, the more the rechargeable battery is charged.
• P ress the switch with the LED light symbol to turn the LED light on or off.
• T he LED light can be removed from the power station and used separately by means of
the connection cable. To be able to pull out the cable comfortably, you can remove a small
plastic flap.
N ever use force when pulling on the cable. Also protect the cable from sharp edges.
• Y ou can hang the LED light up with a small hook on its underside. There is also a magnet
built into the underside of the light, so you can attach it to a suitable metal surface.
• W hen you no longer need the LED light, roll up the connection cable and place it back in
the power station.
Switching off the power station
• W hen you no longer need the power station, switch it off using the " " switch. The "Work-
ing" LED and also the battery charge status LEDs go out.
W hen the power station is switched off, the rechargeable battery does not charge.
Therefore, always make sure to turn the power station on when the battery needs to be
charged.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any
reason. Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by a specialist or a specialist shop.
Clean the product carefully, e.g. with a soft, dry, clean cloth.
If the solar module is very dirty, use a cloth slightly moistened with clean water.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or any chemicals at all for cleaning; these can lead not
only to discolouration, but can also damage the product.
DISPOSAL
E lectronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household
waste.
P lease dispose of the device, when it is no longer of use, according to current statu-
tory requirements.
