Intended use
The wireless DMX512 controller is used for the radio transmission of the DMX512 signals to DMX
light control systems. Two radio controllers replace a wired DMX control through a single radio
link.
Two radio controllers are needed for proper functioning of the device; one unit is used as a trans-
mitter and the other as a receiver.
This product is only approved for connection to 100-240 V / 50/60 Hz AC via an earthed mains socket
connected to the public power supply grid.
The DMX connection may only be connected to suitable DMX controllers or other DMX devices.
The product may be used only in enclosed indoor locations, never outdoors. Contact with moisture,
for example in bathrooms, must be avoided.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the risk
of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product should be altered or modified, and the housing must not be opened.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating in-
structions.

Explanation of the symbols
This symbol indicates specific risks associated with handling, function and use.
The lightning symbol in a triangle is a warning to inform you of potential risks of personal
injury, such as electric shock. The device contains no parts that should be serviced by
the user. Therefore, do not open the device.
This symbol on the device indicates that the user should read these operating instruc-
tions prior to using the product.
The symbol with the house is used to inform the user that the device may only be oper-
ated in enclosed rooms.
This symbol indicates the minimum distance from the adjacent surface.
The arrow symbol indicates special information and advice on operating the product.
Safety Instructions
F irst, read the complete operating instructions carefully, as they contain important
information about the proper operation of the device.
T he warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these
safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
W e shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by in-
correct handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty will be
void in such cases!
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the product
is not permitted.
• The device is manufactured according to protection class 1. Only use a standard
mains socket (100-240 V / 50/60 Hz ) connected to the public power supply grid with
an earthed contact as the voltage source.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is danger of a life-threat-
ening electric shock!
• If the mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, switch off the appropriate mains
socket (e.g. via the respective residual current circuit breaker) and then carefully
pull the mains plug from the socket. Separate the mains cable from the device and
replace it. Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• This product is not a toy; it is not suitable for children. Children are not aware of the
potential dangers involved when using electrical devices.
• Never place vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets,
vases or plants, on the device or in the direct vicinity of the system. Liquids may seep
into the casing and thus impair the electrical safety of the device. Furthermore, there
is a significant risk of fire or a lethal electric shock! If this is the case, de-energise
the appropriate socket (e.g. switch off the residual current circuit breaker) before
unplugging from the socket. If the product cannot be operated any longer, take it to a
specialist workshop.
• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or close to the device.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures (>45 °C), dripping or spraying water,
strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything
for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a low height.
• If you have doubts about how the equipment should be operated or how to connect
it safely, consult a trained technician.
