Operation

Always switch off the device before inserting or removing a watch.
The device has a built-in timer.
It operates for one hour and pauses afterwards for three hours. Then, the cycle starts
again.
This function ensures that the watch is always wound up, but is not overly wound up
or moved unnecessarily.
• Pull out the watch holder towards the front.
• Clamp the watch with its wristband tightly on the watch holder. The larger watch
holder plate can be removed from the watch holder for smaller watches.
• Insert the watch holder in the fixture within the device.
• Using the function switch at the rear of the device, the winding direction of the
watch winder is determined and the device is also switched on or off:
Position 0:
Device off
Position I:
Clockwise rotation
Position II:
Anticlockwise rotation
Some automatic watches can only be wound in one direction.
Please find the appropriate information in your watch's manual.
For watches with a glass housing and a visible rotor, the rotation can also be
determined by turning the rotor when winding the watch. The direction, in
which it is more difficult to move the rotor, is the one used to wind the watch.
Handling
• Never connect the device to the power supply immediately after it has been brought
from a cold room into a warm one. The condensation that forms might damage the
device.
Leave the device disconnected and wait until it reaches room temperature. Wait
until the condensation has evaporated.
• Power adapters must never be plugged in or disconnected with wet hands.
• Never unplug the power adapter from the mains socket by pulling on the cable;
always use the grips intended for this purpose.
• Unplug the power adapter if you are not going to use the device for a while.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains socket during
thunderstorms.
• To ensure adequate ventilation, the watch winder and the power adapter must nev-
er be covered. In addition, the air circulation must not be obstructed by objects such
as magazines, tablecloths, curtains or similar items.
Maintenance and care
The watch winder does not need to be serviced and, except for occasional cleaning
with a soft, dry cloth, requires no care whatsoever.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage
the surface of the case.
Disposal
E lectronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed
of in the household waste!
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
