• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around, since it could
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• In business institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Em-
ployer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operat-
ing Facilities must be observed.
• The entire product is only intended for use in dry, enclosed spaces, it must
not get damp or wet.
• Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, in-
tense vibrations or heavy mechanical loading.
• Make sure that the connected cables are not pinched, kinked or damaged
by sharp edges.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows or
falls even from a low height.
• If you notice any damage, don't use the product any more. Take it to a
specialist workshop.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage

With moisture on the AC adapter there is also the danger to life from elec-
tric shock!
b) Wall plug transformer
• The design of the AC adapter complies with IEC Protection Class II (double
insulated electrical appliances).
• Connect the AC adapter only to a proper outlet of the public supply net-
work.
• The outlet for the wall plug transformer must be located in direct proximity
to the radio receiver and easily accessible.
• The AC adapter is only intended for use in dry, enclosed interiors; it must
not get damp or wet. There is a life-threatening hazard through an electric
shock!
• Do not pull the AC adapter from the power outlet by pulling on the cable.
• Protect the cable of the AC adapter from sharp edges and do not step on it.
• If the AC adapter is damaged, do not touch it; there is a danger to life from
electric shock!
Switch off the power supply to the outlet to which the AC adapter is con-
nected (e.g. switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the
safety fuse and then switch off the corresponding RCD).
Now disconnect the AC adapter from the outlet and take the product to a
specialized workshop.
• Only use the wall plug transformer provided to operate the radio receiver.
If the AC adapter is faulty, it must be replaced by an identical, stabilised
AC adapter with the same technical specifications (voltage/current).
