Thank you for choosing a Hama product.
Take your time and read the following instructions
and information completely. Please keep these
instructions in a safe place for future reference. If
you sell the device, please pass these operating
instructions on to the new owner.
1. Operating instructions
• Please read and observe all safety instructions in the
included "Important instructions for (rechargeable)
batteries" leaflet.
• Always set the output switch (C) on the battery to Off
when you are not charging your controller.
• Always set the output switch (C) on the battery to Off
when you are charging the extension battery.
• Set the output switch (C) on the battery to Off if the
extension battery is completely empty or the controller
is fully charged.
• Only use the extension battery to charge original Sony
Dualshock4 controllers.
• Only use the included USB cable and the charging
stations recommended on the packaging to charge
the extension battery.

3. Getting Started

• First set the output switch (C) to Off.
• Connect the Micro-USB connector (G) to the input
socket of your Black Thunder extension battery (A).
• After charging is complete, disconnect the extension
battery from the relevant power source.
• Now connect your extension battery to your original
Sony Dualshock4 controller using the output socket
(B).
• Set the output switch (C) to On as soon as your
controller has a low battery level. The controller
should be at least halfway discharged.
• Set the output switch on the extension battery to Off
if the extension battery is completely empty or your
controller is fully charged.
Note
• The charging status LED (D) on the extension
battery indicates that the extension battery
is discharged by no longer flashing in the
charging or discharging status.
• You can also check the charging status of your
controller with the extension battery plugged
in using the PS4 Home menu by holding
down the Home button on the controller.
The controller charging status is displayed
in the lower right corner of the screen in the
PS4 menu.
Warning
If the extension battery is always left on while on
the controller, the battery performance and the
service life of the built-in battery will decrease
over time. This is not the case if the output switch
(C) on the extension battery is moved to Off as
soon as the controller is fully charged or the
extension battery is completely empty.
