 Liquids leaking from batteries are chemically very aggressive. Ob-
jects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids can get
heavily damaged.
 In case of misuse, wrong handling or incorrect repair no liability will
be taken for possible damages. Claims under guarantee are also
excluded in such cases.
 The appliance is intended for household use only and may only be
used indoors. It is not intended for commercial or industrial use.
 Packaging material such as plastic bags keep out of reach of chil-
dren.
 In case the connection cord of this appliance is damaged, it has to
be replaced by an authorized service agent of the manufacturer or a
person having similar qualifications. Substantial dangers for the user
can appear from inappropriate repairs.
 Only use the appliance with the included 12 volt adapter. In case the
adapter is damaged or defect, always have it replaced with one of
the original type in order to avoid a hazard.
 Repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified per-
sonal in order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid haz-
ards.


Preparing for operation

 Remove all packaging material from the appliance and put it on a stable, flat and anti-skid surface.
 Before first use appliance must be assembled completely with fan guard.
 Only connect appliance to mains supply after the fan has been fully assembled.
 Insert the batteries into the remote control and ensure the correct polarity.
Assembly
 Place the stand pipe (8) into the opening at the upper side of the pedestal (10) and screw tightly the fixing
screw (11) from the lower side.
 Pull the metal rod out of the stand pipe (8) and fix it with the black cuff at the stand pipe (8).
 Unscrew the fixing screw (27) at the backside of the motor unit.
 Place the motor unit (7) on the upper side of the stand pipe (8) and secure it with the fixing screw (27).
 Place the backside fan-guard (6) at the motor housing and position the locking noses into the correspond-
ing oval notches.
 Fix the backside fan-guard (6) with the fan-guard retaining screw (5) by twisting it clock-wise until it is
mounted securely.
 Slide the propeller (4) over the motor shaft till it is latched to the splint.
 Secure the propeller (4) by screwing the propeller fixing screw (3) anti-clock-wise.
 Place the front fan-guard (2) flush with the backside fan-guard (6) and slide the fixing ring (1) over the fan-
guard. Check the correct position of the fixing ring (1) and fix it by closing the clip at the fixing ring.
Operation
 The product can be operated by two ways of power supply:
 Connecting with the 12V-adapter to the 12V connection (26) at the backside of the product. Connect
the 12V port of adapter with the product and put the adapter to the mains supply.

Connecting the power bank to the 5V-USB port (25) at the backside of product. Connect the power
bank with the product by using the USB cable (14).
Important: The power bank needs to be switched on to operate the unit.
 The product can be switched on and off by using the button 19.

The speed level of the fan propeller can be selected from speed 1 to speed 6 with the button 21. The
LED-for speed setting (18) indicates the selected speed level.
Speed 1: silent wind
Speed 2: slight wind
Speed 3: medium wind
Speed 4: natural wind with changing wind speed
Speed 5: strong wind
Speed 6: very strong wind
Important: when using the power bank only speed 1 to speed 4 are possible.

Oscillation function (horizontal pivoting of the air flow) can be switched on and off with the button (23)
Important: when using the power bank oscillation function is not available.
 Timer function (automatic switch off after selected time) can be set by button 20. The timer can be set
from one hour up to six hours by one hour steps and will be indicated by the LED for timer setting (17).
 The pilot lights at the control panel can be switched on and off with button 22.
 Function on/off, speed, oscillation, timer and on/off pilot lights can be also operated by remote control. The
remote control need to be pointed to the product. The maximum range of remote control is 7 meter.
 The remote control can be stored at the backside of product with the integrated magnetic support (24).
 Switch the appliance off after use and pull the plug or disconnect the USB-cable.
Power bank (rechargeable batteries)
 The power bank can be charged with the charger and the charging cable with USB and micro-USB port
(16). Charging time will be approx. 15 to 18 hours.
 The LEDs at the power bank indicate the process while charging.
 It is not possible to simultaneously charge the power bank and use it.
 The power bank must be switched ON for usage.
