Preparing for operation

 Remove all packaging material from the appliance and put the completely assembled fan it on a
stable, flat and anti-skid surface.
 Before first use appliance must be assembled completely with fan guard.
 Only connect appliance to mains supply after the fan has been fully assembled including the
fan guard.
Assembly
 Locate the pipe centred from upside to the pedestal, place the mounting plate from the lower side and
secure the pipe with the offset screw tightly.
 Place the motor housing on the upper side of the pipe.
 Insert the connection screw through the rectangular opening.
 Place the washer at the opposite side on the connection screw and secure it with the screw nut
tightly.
 Place the backside fan-guard at the motor housing front part and assemble it with the screws by using
a screw driver.
 Slide the propeller over the motor shaft and secure it be tightening the screw by using a screw driver.
 Hinge the front fan-guard with the upper locking-clamp to the backside fan-guard and secure it with
the secure screw and nut located at the lower side of the fan guard. Connect backside and front fan-
guard at the side by closing the clips.
Attention: Always pull the plug before opening the fan-guard. Risk of injury!
Operation
 The speed level of the fan propeller can be selected with the rotary switch:
– 0 – Position for setting 0: appliance is switched off
– 1 – Position for setting 1: low speed
– 2 – Position for setting 2: middle speed
– 3 – Position for setting 3: high speed
 Oscillation function (horizontal pivoting of the air flow) can be selected with the adjusting bolt at the
motor housing lower part:
tighten the bolt: Oscillation OFF
release the bolt: Oscillation ON (oscillation angle can be adjusted by release bolt)
 The inclination angle of motor housing can be changed through the fixing screw.
 Switch the appliance off after use and pull the plug.

Cleaning and maintenance

 Switch the appliance off and pull the plug.
 Never immerse the appliance in water or let it have contact with water.
 Do not use caustic or scouring cleaning agents.
 Clean the appliance with a damp cloth only.
The appliance complies with the European directives 2006/95/EC and 2004/108/EC.
At the end of its lifetime this product must not be disposed of through the normal domestic
waste, but it should be handed to an assembly point for the recycling for electrical and elec-
tronical appliances. You can inquire about details at the local administration.
