Instructions for Use

Before Using

Read these instructions carefully. They contain important notes for the
use, safety and maintenance of the appliance. Keep them in a safe place
and transfer them to a possible succeeding user. Only use the appliance
for the purpose mentioned in these instructions. When using pay particu-
lar attention to the following safety advice.
Safety advice
 Connect the appliance to alternating current only – with a rated volt-
age according to the rating plate at adaptor – to a correctly installed
socket. Cord and plug have to be completely dry.
 Do not pull the connection cord and USB-cable over sharp edges or
jam it, do not allow it to hang down and protect it from heat and oil.
 Always make sure the appliance is properly and completely assem-
bled before connecting to power outlet or power bank and operating.
Only operate the appliance with correct assembled fan guard. Risk
of injury!
 Switch off the appliance from power supply prior to removing the fan
guard.
 Never insert items or finger through the fan-guard and keep suffi-
cient distance with long hair. Risk of injury!
 Do not pull the adaptor by the connection cord or touch it with wet
hands.
 Do not immerse the appliance, the connection cord or the adaptor in
water or any other liquid. Risk of electric shock.
 Only use appliance while it is vertically and free placed on a stable
surface with safety distance of more than 50cm to other objects.
 Do not carry the appliance at the connection cord.
 During use do not cover the item, do not move the item and do not
pull at the cord.
 This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
 Keep children away from the appliance, connecting cable, power
bank and all accessories.
 Keep appliance out of reach from children. Children should be su-
pervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
 Do not leave the appliance unattended during use.
 If the following happens do not use the appliance respectively un-
plug it immediately:
- The appliance, cord or adaptor is damaged
- Any defect after a plunge or something similar is suspected.
In these cases have the appliance repaired.
 Unplug appliance or remove connection with power bank in follow-
ing cases:
- Faults during use
- Before cleaning and maintenance
- After use
 The power bank must not be exposed to extreme temperatures,
direct sunlight, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress. The
power bank must not get damp or wet.
 Caution! LED-light: do not look directly into the LED-light! Do not
look into the beam directly or with optical instruments.
 The power bank heats up during use. Make sure that there is suffi-
cient ventilation and never cover it.
 The rechargeable batteries are permanently installed into the hous-
ing of the power bank and cannot be replaced.
 Keep away the power bank from hot surface and never throw it into
fire. Danger of fire and explosion!
 Recharge the power bank regularly even if it is not used (approx.
every 3 month). Otherwise it may result in a deep discharge of the
batteries, which can damage them permanently.
 If your skin comes into contact with leaking or damaged batteries,
you may suffer chemical burns. Use suitable protection-gloves in
these cases.
