Approved usage
The POWER BAR is designed as standard for mounting on
spikes. Placing it on spikes ensures that the unit is stable when
positioned, as well as isolating it from the floor, thereby
guaranteeing optimum sound quality.
The spikes feature extremely sharp points, so please handle
them with great care to avoid injury and damage. It is important
to set up the POWER BAR in a position where children cannot
reach it.
Please note that the points of the spikes may damage delicate
floor surfaces.
The device should be set up in a dry, well-ventilated site, out of
direct sunlight and away from radiators. The unit must not be
located close to heat-producing objects or devices, or anything
which is heat-sensitive or highly inflammable.
Do not place heat isolating items such as cloth sheets on the
device. Do not place naked flame sources, such as candle lights
on the device.
Protect the unit from drips and splashes of water; never place
flower vases or fluid containers on the unit.
If the unit gets very cold (e. g. when being transported),
condensation may form inside it. Please do not switch it on until it
has had plenty of time to warm up to room temperature, so that
any condensation evaporates completely.
The device is intended to be connected to a properly installed
mains outlet with protective earth connector. If the unit is not to
be used for a long period, disconnect it from the mains supply at
the wall socket. Mains leads must be deployed in such a way that
there is no danger of damage to them (e. g. through persons
treading on them or from furniture).
It is not allowed to connect two or more POWER BARs in series.
Unplugging the mains plug will disconnect the device from the
mains for service and repair. Please make sure that the mains
plug is easily accessible.
If the unit is damaged, or if you suspect that it is not functioning
correctly, immediately disconnect the mains plug at the wall
socket, and ask an authorised specialist workshop to check
it.
The device is designed to operate in a temperate climate. The
range of permissible operating temperatures is +10 ... +35°C.
The POWER BAR is exclusively designed for the supply of audio
devices. Please do not connect any other devices. Make sure
that the connected devices do not exceed the maximum power
handling capacity (see technical data) of the POWER BAR.
