Characteristics / Eigenschaften
• The wireless thermostat measures room temperature by internal sensor; based on a set program
in the system unit, it opens / closes the radiator valve.
• It can be combined with one of three system units: smart RF box eLAN-RF, wireless controller
RFTC-100/G or touch unit RF Touch.
• It measures temperature in a range of 0 - +32 °C and sends it to the system unit in regular 5-min.
intervals.
• Monitoring function Open window, where upon a sudden change in temperature, it shuts the
valve for a preset period.
• Setting the hysteresis and off set is performed in the system unit or application.
• Low battery indicator on the display of the system unit or in the application.
• Mounting directly on the valve of the heater (radiator).
• Battery power (1.5 V / 2x AA - included in supply) with battery life of around 1 year based on
frequency of use.
• Range up to 100 m (in open space), if the signal is insuffi cient between the controller and unit,
use the signal repeater RFRP-20 or protocol component RFIO
• Communication frequency with bidirectional protocol iNELS RF Control.
• Package includes: adapters Danfoss RAV, RA, RAVL; 2x batteries AA 1.5 V; key.
Assembly / Montage
1. Power:
- open the battery cover.
- insert the batteries (included in packaging, observe the polarity).
- close the battery cover.
2. Assembly:
- if necessary, screw on a suitable adapter to the existing heating valve.
- screw the coupling ring to the valve (adapter).
- seat the wireless thermovalve RFATV-1 on the coupling ring until it noticeably clicks into
place. The thermovalve must be seated on the coupling ring evenly.

Calibrating the RFATV-1:

- using a "key", press the blue button. The thermovalve itself will fi nd the extreme position
open and closed on its own. During calibration, do not touch the thermovalve. A fl ashing
green LED diode on the thermovalve indicates the end of calibration.

• Das Funkthermostat misst die Raumtemperatur über einen internen Sensor. Je nach
Programmeinstellung der Systemeinheit öff net oder schliesst es das Ventil des Heizkörpers.
• Folgende Systemeinheiten können verwendet werden: smart RF box eLAN-RF, Funksteuerung RFTC-
100/G oder RF Touch.
• Die Temperatur wird in einem Bereich von 0 - +32°C gemessen und an die Systemeinheit regelmässig
in einem Intervall von 5 Minuten gesendet.
• Überwachungsfunktiuon ‚Off enes Fenster': Bei einer plötzlichen Änderung der Raumtemperatur
wird das Ventil des Heizkörpers für einen vorab eingestellten Zeitraum geschlossen.
• Verzögerungs- und Vorlaufeinstellungen werden in der Systemeinheit oder der Anwendung
programmiert.
• Der Status für einen niedrigen Ladezustand der Batterie wird auf der Systemeinheit oder in der
Anwendung angezeigt.
• Befestigung direkt auf dem Heizkörperventil.
• Batteriespannung (1.5 V / 2x AA - enthalten) mit einer Batterielebensdauer von ca. 1 Jahr je nach
Häufi gkeit der Nutzung.
• Reichweite bis zu 100 m (im Freien), verwenden Sie einen RFRP-20-Signal-Repeater oder die Aktoren

mit den RFIO -Funktionen, wenn das Signal zwischen dem Sender und dem Aktor nicht ausreicht ist.
• Kommunikationsfrequenz mit bidirektionalen Protokoll iNELS RF Control.
• Das Paket beinhaltet: Adapter Danfoss RAV, RA, RAVL; 2x Batterien AA 1.5V; Schlüssel.
Stromversorgung:
- öff nen der Batterieabdeckung.
- einlegen der batterien (im Lieferumfang enthalten, beachten Sie die Polarität).
- close the battery cover.
Montage:
- falls notwendig, verwenden Sie einen der mitgelieferten Adapter für das vorhandene Heizkörperventil.
- schrauben Sie den Kupplungsring auf das Ventil (Adapter).
- setzen Sie das funkgesteuerte Thermostatventil RFATV-1 auf den Kupplungsring bis es hörbar
einrastet. Das Thermoventil muss auf dem Kupplungsring gleichmäßig sitzen.

Kalibrierung des RFATV-1:
- Mit einem "Schlüssel", drücken Sie die blaue Taste. Das Thermoventil selbst wird die maximale
Position off en und zu fi nden. Während der Kalibrierung, berühren Sie nicht das Thermoventil.
Eine blinkende grüne LED-Diode auf dem Thermoventil zeigt das Ende der Kalibrierung.
