1. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Produkt dient zum Schreiben auf und Lesen von kompatiblen Speicherkarten. Es ist für PCs mit USB 3.0 Anschluss
ausgelegt und rückwärtskompatibel zu USB 2.0 und 1.1. Nur in trockenen Innenräumen zu betreiben.
Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) dürfen Sie das Produkt nicht umbauen und/oder verändern. Falls Sie das
Produkt für andere Zwecke verwenden, als zuvor beschrieben, kann das Produkt beschädigt werden. Außerdem kann eine
unsachgemäße Verwendung Gefahren wie zum Beispiel Kurzschluss, Brand, Stromschlag, etc. hervorrufen. Lesen Sie
sich die Bedienungsanleitung genau durch und bewahren Sie diese auf. Reichen Sie das Produkt nur zusammen mit der
Bedienungsanleitung an dritte Personen weiter.

Personen / Produkt
• Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie es von Kindern und Haustieren fern.
• Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen. Dieses könnte für Kinder zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug werden.
• Schützen Sie das Produkt vor extremen Temperaturen, direktem Sonnenlicht, starken Erschütterungen, hoher Feuchtigkeit,
Nässe, brennbaren Gasen, Dämpfen und Lösungsmitteln.
• Setzen Sie das Produkt keiner mechanischen Beanspruchung aus.
• Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Produkt um. Durch Stöße, Schläge oder dem Fall aus bereits geringer Höhe wird es beschädigt.

angeschlossen wird.

• Wenden Sie sich an eine Fachkraft, wenn Sie Zweifel über die Arbeitsweise, die Sicherheit oder den Anschluss des Produktes

• Lassen Sie Wartungs-, Anpassungs- und Reparaturarbeiten ausschließlich von einem Fachmann bzw. einer Fachwerkstatt
durchführen.
• Sollten Sie noch Fragen haben, die in dieser Bedienungsanleitung nicht beantwortet werden, wenden Sie sich an unseren
technischen Kundendienst oder an andere Fachleute.
4. Inbetriebnahme
1. Schalten Sie Ihren Computer ein und warten Sie bis das Betriebssystem vollständig gestartet ist.
2. Schieben Sie die Speicherkarte unter Beachtung der korrekten Ausrichtung in das jeweilige Einschubfach. Beachten Sie
hierzu die Abbildung am Gehäuse des Kartenlesers. Die beiden microSD (microSD I & microSD II) bzw. SD Einschübe
(SDXC I & SDXC II) können gleichzeitig verwendet werden.
Der Kartenleser bzw. die Karte können beschädigt werden, wenn die Karte nicht in korrekter Ausrichtung
eingeschoben wird.
Die Einschübe microSD I und SDXC I bzw. microSD II und SDXC II können nicht gleichzeitig benutzt werden.
Verwenden Sie stets nur jeweils einen Einschub.
Die Einschübe MS Pro Duo und M2 können nicht gleichzeitig benutzt werden.
3. Klappen Sie den USB-Stecker aus und stecken Sie ihn in einen freien USB-Anschluss Ihres Computers. Die LED am
Kartenleser leuchtet beim Betrieb an USB 3.0 blau und bei USB 2.0 rot.
4. Ein neues Laufwerk / Laufwerke werden auf Ihrem Computer angezeigt. Folgen Sie den Bedienungsanleitungen für Ihr
Betriebssystem, um die Karte(n) zu lesen bzw. auf dieser/diesen zu schreiben.
Wichtig: SDXC-Speicherkarten verwenden das sog. exFAT-Dateisystem. Bei Windows XP ist dafür unbedingt
ein Update zu installieren, andernfalls wird eine SDXC-Speicherkarte nicht erkannt! Besuchen Sie die Webseite
www.microsoft.com und suchen Sie dort nach dem Update für das exFAT-Dateisystem. Erst nach der Installation
dieses Updates können SDXC-Speicherkarten mit Windows XP verwendet werden!
5. Führen Sie vor dem Entfernen der Speicherkarte(n) die notwendigen Schritte durch, um ein sicheres Entfernen der Karte(n)
zu gewährleisten. Beachten Sie dazu die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Betriebssystems.
5. Entsorgung
Elektronische Geräte sind Wertstoffe und gehören nicht in den Hausmüll.
Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.

1. Intended use
The product is intended for reading and writing to compatible memory cards. It is designed for a personal computer (PC) with USB
3.0 connection and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 / 1.1. Only operate the product in a dry indoor environment.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product for purposes other
than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting,
fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together
with its operating instructions.

4. Operation
1. Switch your computer on and wait until the operating system has completely booted up.
2. Insert the memory card into the corresponding slot with the correct orientation. Look at the illustration printed on the housing
of the card reader. Both microSD slots (microSD I & microSD II) or both SD slots (SDXC I & SDXC II) can be used at the
same time.
The card reader or the card may be damaged if the card is not inserted in the correct orientation.
The microSD I and SDXC I slots, and the microSD II and SDXC II slots cannot be used at the same time. Use
only one slot each at a time.
The MS Pro Duo and M2 slots cannot be used at the same time.
3. Fold out the USB plug and plug it into a free USB port on your computer. The LED on the card reader lights up blue when
connected to a USB 3.0 port, and red when connected to a USB 2.0 port.
4. A new drive / drives will appear on your computer. Follow the operating instructions for your operating system to read and
write to the card(s).
Important: SDXC memory cards use the so-called exFAT file system. With Windows XP, this means you have
to install an update, otherwise the SDXC memory card will not be recognised! Visit the website www.microsoft.
com and search for an update for the exFAT file system. SDXC memory cards can only be used with Windows
XP after installing this update!
5. Before removing the memory card(s), perform the necessary operations to ensure it is safe to remove the card(s). Refer to
the operating instructions for your operating system.
5. Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
