set uP
1. Spread your tent out and open the zippered door
completely. Carefully unfold the three shock-corded poles
and make sure all joints are fully engaged. Joints not fully
engaged can break. Do not toss the poles open! Pole
sections snapping together can damage the joints. The
two long poles are the X poles and go from corner to
corner. The curved pole arches over the door and anchors
in pockets on the tent floor.
2. Insert a straight pole through the door and slide the end
into the corner (snap) at the opposite end of the tent (a).
Fasten the pole to the first hook-and-loop closure near
the door with the tent lying flat.
3. Flex the pole toward the ceiling and put the end into the
front corner. (b). It is easier to get the pole into the tent if
you pass the end through, just next to the corner instead
of directly into the corner. Never over flex the poles.
4. Insert the second straight pole into the other rear corner.
Flex the pole and bring the end into the remaining front
corner. (c, d). The poles should cross each other at the
peak forming an "X." The tent should now be standing
upright.
5. Flex the arch pole and hold it near the ends. You can
do this by putting one end on the ground and gradually
flexing it until the other end can be reached. With the
pole arched just wide enough to fit through the door
enter the tent backwards. On either side of the tent floor
are two small pockets for the pole ends. Gently release
one end of the pole and let it rest easily against the inside
wall of the tent. Put one pole end into its pocket then
the other. Push the arching pole up until it rests over the
door zipper.
6. Inside the tent, make sure all pole ends are set securely
into their corner snaps or pole pockets. Secure each pole
along the interior of the canopy using the hook-and-loop
fasteners to hold them in place. There are two longer
hook-and-loop fasteners to connect the X poles and arch
poles where they intersect.
7. Attach the canopy fabric to the net part of the tent with
the hook-and-loop fastener under the front guy-out
points. Stake out the two front loops on the vestibule.
Additionally there are two hooks that attach to the front
stake out points and a buckle at the side of the tent to
tension the bottom of the canopy. This fabric canopy
can also be rolled back and secured with three toggle
fasteners if the fair weather option is desired.
8. Anchor the tent securely by staking out your tent to
the ground immediately, every time you set it up. The
slightest breeze can blow it away, causing severe damage.
VentiLAtion
Maintain adequate ventilation at all times. The top of the
door may be left open under its awning.
seAM seALing
The seams of your Superlight Tent are not seam taped.
Note: The SilNet™ provided should be sufficient to do the
exterior of your tent. Extra tubes and/or applicators may
be purchased. All the exterior stitching should be sealed
completely before use.

here's how:
Before you start, set up your tent in a dry, shady place
where it can be left up for 1-2 days to allow the SilNet to dry
completely. Be sure to stake it down. Be sure there is enough
ventilation in your work area. A supply of paper towels might
prove handy.
1. After setting up your tent, carefully f ill the syringe
applicator about three-quarters full with McNett SilNet.
2. Using the applicator, paint on a flat narrow brushstroke of
SilNet directly down ALL exterior seams, taking particular
care around the door awnings. Be sure to seal both sides
of exterior items that are sewn into the seams.
3. Seal the corner snaps on the interior of the tent. Using
the applicator, seal the edge around the metal snap on
the inside of the tent. Also put a small amount of sealer
directly into the center of the snap, letting the sealer seep
inside. Let sealer dry completely before storing your tent.
This usually takes 24 to 48 hours, but may take longer in
some circumstances.
stAKing
Always stake out your tent using all points provided. Staking
out your tent must not be considered optional! YES, your
tent can easily be dragged by modest winds even with 45 kg
(100 lb) of gear in it!
snoW conDitions
Be extremely careful when shoveling snow from around your
tent. A shovel can easily tear the fabric. NEVER brush snow
off your tent with any hard objects, such as sticks, shovels,
ice axes, etc.
AttAching oPtionAL grounD cLoth
A fitted ground cloth is available for the Skylight tent. Along
the edges of the ground cloth are reinforced grommets.
These can be used to attach the ground cloth to the tent. Tie
a short loop of cord through each of the ground cloth corner
grommets. Slip this loop over the tent corner webbing when
staking out the tent. The ground cloth can also be used as
a tarp—use the grommets along the edges to suspend or
anchor it.

We warrant for one year from purchase date and only to the
original retail buyer (Buyer) that our products (Products)
are free from defects in material and workmanship. For
headlamps our warranty is for three years. If Buyer discovers
a covered defect, Buyer should return the Product to the
place of purchase. In the event that this is not possible,
return the Product to us at the address provided. The
Product will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. That
is the extent of our liability under this Warranty and, upon
expiration of the applicable warranty period, all such liability
shall terminate. We reserve the right to require proof of
purchase for all warranty claims.
Warranty exclusions:
We do not warranty Products against normal wear and
tear (such as ski edge cuts and abrasions, outsole wear,
etc.), unauthorized modifications or alterations, improper
use, improper maintenance, accident, misuse, negligence,
damage, or if the Product is used for a purpose for which it
was not designed. This Warranty gives you specific rights,
and you may also have other rights which vary from state to
state. Except for expressly stated in this Warranty, we shall
not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or other types of
damages arising out of, or resulting from the use of Product.
This Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or
implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose (some
states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental
or consequential damages or allow limitations on the
duration of an implied warranty, so the above exclusions
may not apply to you).

1. D é p l oye z votre te n te e t o u v re z comp l è te m e n t
la fermeture à glissière de la porte. Dépliez les trois
arceaux et assurez-vous que tous les segments sont bien
emboîtés. Ne pas lancer les arceaux par terre pour les
ouvrir ! Les segments peuvent endommager les embouts
au moment où ils se déplient et s'emboîtent. Les deux
longs arceaux sont des arceaux en "X" et vont d'un coin à
un autre. L'arceau cintré forme un arc de cercle au-dessus
de la porte et chacune de ses extrémités s'insère dans les
fourreaux prévus à cet effet dans le tapis de sol de la tente.
2. Insérez un des arceaux droits par la porte puis glissez
l'extrémité dans le coin (œillet) situé à l'extrémité
opposée de la tente (a). Attachez l'arceau au premier clip
de fixation près de la porte tout en laissant la tente à plat.
3. Courbez l'arceau vers le plafond et insérez l'extrémité
dans le coin avant (b). Il est plus facile d'insérer l'arceau
dans la tente si vous passez d'abord son extrémité par le
centre de la porte pour le rapprocher du coin plutôt que
directement dans le coin. Ne jamais courber exagérément
les arceaux.

4. Insérez le second arceau droit dans l'autre coin arrière.
Courbez l'arceau et amenez son extrémité dans le coin
avant restant (c, d). Les arceaux doivent se croiser au
sommet en formant un "X". La tente doit maintenant
tenir debout.
5. Saisissez l'arceau cintré en attrapant chacune de ses
extrémités. Vous pouvez y par venir en calant une
extrémité contre le sol puis en courbant progressivement
l'arceau jusqu'à ce vous puissiez attraper l'autre extrémité
avec votre main libre. Avec l'arceau suf f isamment
courbé pour passer par la porte, entrez dans la tente à
reculons. De chaque côté du tapis de sol se trouvent deux
fourreaux destinés aux extrémités des arceaux. Relâchez
doucement une des extrémités de l'arceau et laissez-la
simplement se caler contre la paroi interne de la tente.
Insérez une extrémité d'arceau dans son fourreau puis
l'autre. Poussez l'arceau vers le haut jusqu'à ce que son
arc de cercle se positionne au-dessus de la fermeture à
glissière de la porte.
6. A l'intérieur de la tente, assurez-vous que vos extrémités
d'arceaux sont solidement mises en place dans les œillets
de coins ou fourreaux correspondants. Accrochez chaque
arceau le long de la paroi interne à l'aide des clips de
fixation afin qu'ils restent en place. Deux crochets plus
longs sont prévus pour l'intersection des arceaux en "X"
et des arceaux cintrés.
7. At tachez la par tie frontale de la toile à la par tie
moustiquaire de la tente à l'aide des crochets situés
sous les points avant de haubanage. Amarrez les deux
pattes avant à l'abside. Deux crochets sont également
prévus pour attacher la toile aux pattes avant d'amarrage
ainsi qu'une boucle sur le côté de la tente pour tendre
cette partie de la toile. Si vous le souhaitez, en fonction
des conditions météo, la partie frontale de la toile
peut également être roulée et retenue à l'aide des trois
attaches prévues.
8. A chaque mont age, amarrez immé diatement e t
solidement votre tente au sol en la haubanant. La
moindre brise peut emporter la tente et sérieusement
l'endommager.
VentiLAtion
Maintenir en permanence une ventilation suffisante. La
partie supérieure de la porte peut être laissée ouverte sous
son rabat.
iMPerMÉABiLisAtion
Les coutures intérieures de votre tente Superlight ne sont
pas étanchées. Veuillez noter : le produit SilNet™ fourni
doit suffire à imperméabiliser toute la surface externe de
votre tente. Cependant, il vous sera peut-être nécessaire
d'acheter des tubes et/ou des applicateurs supplémentaires.
Toutes les coutures extérieures doivent être complètement
imperméabilisées avant utilisation.
Voici comment procéder :
Avant de commencer, montez votre tente dans un endroit
sec et ombragé où vous pourrez la laisser en place pendant
1 à 2 jours pour permettre au produit SilNet de sécher
complètement. Prenez soin de bien la haubaner. Vérifiez si
votre espace de travail est suffisamment ventilé. Un rouleau
d'essuie-tout placé à portée de main pourra vous être utile.
1. Après avoir monté votre tente, remplissez soigneusement
la seringue de l'applicateur avec McNett SilNet jusqu'aux
trois-quarts environ.
2. A l'aide de l'applicateur, appliquez un trait plat et mince
de SilNet directement sur TOUTES les coutures externes,
en particulier le long du rabat de la porte. Assurez-vous
de bien étancher les deux côtés des éléments externes
qui sont cousus dans les coutures.
3. Imperméabilisez les œillets des coins à l'intérieur de
la tente. A l'aide de l'applicateur, imperméabilisez
le bord de l'œillet métallique situé à l'intérieur de la
tente. Laissez également pénétrer une petite quantité
d'imperméabilisant directement dans l'oeillet. Laissez
sécher complètement avant de plier la tente. Le temps de
séchage est généralement compris entre 24 et 48 heures,
voire plus selon les circonstances.
hAuBAnAge
Prenez toujours soin de haubaner votre tente en utilisant
tous les points de haubanage existants. Ne considérez pas
le haubanage de votre tente comme une option ! OUI, votre
tente peut facilement être emportée par des vents faibles,
même avec 45 kg de matériel à l'intérieur !
en cAs De neige
Soyez extrêmement prudent lorsque vous déblayez la neige
autour de votre tente car le godet de votre pelle à neige
peut facilement déchirer la toile. NE DEBLAYEZ JAMAIS la
surface enneigée de votre tente à l'aide d'objets durs et/
ou pointus tels que bâtons de randonnée, pelles à neige,
piolets, etc.
coMMent fiXer Le tAPis De soL ProPosÉ en
oPtion
Un tapis de sol est disponible en option pour la tente
Skylight. Les bords de ce tapis de sol sont munis d'œillets
renforcés. Ceux-ci peuvent être utilisés pour attacher le
tapis de sol à la tente. Passez une petite boucle de hauban
dans les œillets à chaque coin du tapis. Enfilez cette boucle
sur la patte de haubanage à chaque coin de la tente lors
du haubanage de celle-ci. Le tapis de sol peut également
servir de bâche : utilisez les œillets le long des bords pour le
suspendre ou l'amarrer.

1. Breiten Sie Ihr Zelt aus und öf fnen Sie den mit
Reissverschluss verschlossenen Eingang vollständig.
Legen Sie die drei Stangen vorsichtig aus, und
stecken Sie sie zusammen. Achten Sie darauf, dass
alle Steckverbindungen richtig einrasten. Sind die
Steckverbindungen nicht vollständig zusammengesteckt,
können sie brechen. Schütteln Sie die Zeltstangen nicht
auseinander! Gegeneinander schlagende Stangenteile
können die Verbindungen beschädigen. Die zwei langen
Stangen sind die sich x-förmig kreuzenden Hauptstangen
und laufen von einer Ecke zur anderen. Die gebogene
Stange bildet einen Bogen über dem Eingang und wird in
den Taschen auf dem Zeltboden verankert.
2. Führen Sie eine gerade Stange durch den Eingang ein,
und stecken Sie das Ende in die Öse an der Zeltecke auf
der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Zeltes (a). Befestigen
Sie die Stange mit dem ersten Klettverschluss in der
Nähe des Eingangs, während das Zelt f lach auf dem
Boden liegt.
3. Biegen Sie die Stange in Richtung Zeltdach, und stecken
Sie das Endstück in die vordere Ecke. Sie bekommen
die Stange leichter in das Zelt, wenn Sie das Ende in der
Mitte der Tür einführen, anstatt sie direkt in die Ecke zu
führen. Biegen Sie die Zeltstangen nie zu stark.
4. Stecken Sie die zweite gerade Stange in die andere
hintere Ecke. Biegen Sie die Stange, und stecken Sie
das Endstück in die verbleibende vordere Ecke (c, d).
Die Stangen sollten sich im oberen Bereich x-förmig
überkreuzen. Das Zelt sollte jetzt alleine stehen.
5. Biegen Sie den Gestängebogen, und halten Sie ihn an
beiden Enden fest. Sie erreichen dies, indem Sie ein
Ende auf den Boden stellen und so lange biegen, bis
das andere Ende erreicht werden kann. Gehen Sie mit
der Stange, die so weit gebogen ist, dass sie durch den
Eingang passt, rückwärts in das Zelt. Auf jeder Seite des
Zeltbodens befinden sich zwei kleine Taschen für die
Stangenenden. Lockern Sie ein Stangenende vorsichtig
und lassen Sie es leicht an der Innenseite des Zeltes
anliegen. Stecken Sie zuerst ein Stangenende in die
zugehörige Tasche, danach das andere. Drücken Sie die
gebogene Stange nach oben, bis sie sich oberhalb des
Türreissverschlusses befindet.
6. Vergewissern Sie sich im Inneren des Zeltes, dass alle
Stangenenden sicher in den Eckösen oder Stangentaschen
stecken. Befestigen Sie jede Zeltstange auf der Innenseite
der Zeltplane mit Hilfe der Klettverschlüsse. Es gibt zwei
längere Klettverschlüsse, um die beiden sich x-förmig
kreuzenden Hauptstangen und die Bogenstangen dort zu
verbinden, wo sie sich kreuzen.
7. Befestigen Sie die Zeltplane am Moskitonetz des
Zeltes mit dem Klettverschluss unter den vorderen
Abspannpunkten und die beiden vorderen Schlaufen der
Apsis mit Heringen. Zusätzlich gibt es zwei Schlaufen,
die an den vorderen Heringbefestigungspunk ten
befestigt sind, und eine Schnalle an der Seite des
Zeltes, um den unteren Teil der Zeltplane zu spannen.
Für die Schönwetteroption kann diese Zeltplane auch
zusammengerollt und mit drei Schlaufenverschlüssen
befestigt werden.
8. Verankern Sie das Zelt jedes Mal, wenn Sie es aufbauen,
sofort mit Hilfe von Heringen sicher am Boden. Es kann
schon von einem leichten Windhauch weggeblasen
werden und stark beschädigt werden.
BeLÜftung
Sorgen Sie immer für ausreichende Belüftung. Der obere Teil
des Eingangs kann unter dem Vordach geöffnet bleiben.
ABDichten Der nÄhte
Die inneren Nähte Ihres Sk ylight-Zeltes sind nicht
überklebt. Hinweis: Die gelieferte Menge SilNet™ Silikon-
Nahtdichtmittel sollte ausreichen, um die äusseren Nähte
