1. Set up, connection and initial operation
1. The antenna has an active 16-18dB gain signal booster. The booster has a power
requirement of 5V @ 70mA DC.
You have two options the power the booster:
A)
Connect the antenna to a DVB-T receiver with a 5V power feed on the
coaxial cable. Connect this receiver directly to the antenna output of the
receiver.
B)
Optional Accessories
Connect the antenna to the optional power insertion adapter. Plug the
attached AC adapter into the power socket. This will insert the required
power onto the antenna cable of the DVB-T antenna and feed the
signal booster.
TV
For both options you have the advantage of only one cable connection to the antenna.
2. Connect the antenna to the DVB-T receiver and switch it on. Switch your TV set to
the appropriate input.
3. If you are connecting as set out in option A (power supplied by the DVB-T receiver)
make sure the power supply to the antenna cable is switched on.
4. For connection as per option B (power inserted by the power insertion adapter)
connect the power inserter to AC power.
