Purpose
The active antenna is suitable for the indoor and outdoor reception of analogue and
digital terrestrial television signals in the VHF and UHF band. The antenna is water- and
dust proof if used with sealed F-connectors according to the IP66 Norm.
The antenna is optimized for the reception of DVB-T (UHF) signals and is capable of
receiving both horizontal and vertical polarizations at the same time.
This is ideal for outdoor installation where the polarization of the antenna does not need
to be changed.
General consideration for the reception of radio waves
An optimum reception is not possible in all areas. This antenna is designed with the
best specification and the highest flexibility for all possible set ups in mind.
The unit is water proofed for outdoor usage. It does receive horizontal and vertical
polarizations at the same time without adjusting the positioning. These features make
the antenna ideal for in- and outdoor use in case of weak signal strength.
Re-enforced concrete walls, vapour-plated windows or other metal parts can affect the
indoor reception. Please try to position the antenna in another area, preferably close to
a window or position the unit outside with the included wall- or mast mounting
