Safety Instructions
Set up:
•
Place the antenna on a firm and even surface
•
Protect the antenna and the optional AC adapter with power inserter from excessive humidity and
heat
•
Do not position the antenna and the optional AC adapter with power inserter on or near a source
of heat
•
Do not place the antenna and the optional AC adapter with power inserter on an inflammable
surface e.g. newspaper, magazine, blankets a.s.o.
•
The optional AC adapter with power inserter is only for INDOOR use!
•
Do not expose the optional AC adapter with power inserter to water spray or liquids. If using the
antenna outdoor a sealed F-connector with O-ring MUST be used.
•
ONLY the antenna can be used outdoor when used with a sealed F-connector!
Intended Use
•
This antenna is for the reception of digital and analogue terrestrial TV and radio programs. This is
only possible in conjunction with an appropriate receiver.
•
The DVB-T antenna is exclusively designed and meant for this purpose and must only be used for
such purpose. Please read and follow the further instructions in the owner's manual, especially
with reference to the safety instructions.
•
Any other use or application of the antenna is not within the scope of the product specification, it
can result in injury or damages. The manufacturer is not liable in case of damages arising from
improper use, furthermore the warranty will be null and void.
Mains Supply
•
If the antenna or the receiver will not be in use for a prolonged period of time they should be
separated from the mains supply by pulling the plug.
•
Please separate the antenna and the optional AC adapter with power inserter from the mains
during electric storms as well.
Care and Cleaning
• Caution!
Clean the surfaces with a dry cloth. Never use – especially for the optional AC adapter with
power inserter a wet cloth.
Do not use any cleaning agent containing solvents or aggressive ingredients as this may damage
the surface.
Problems and Questions
•
Immediately disconnect the AC power should the antenna or the optional AC adapter with power
inserter be damaged. Never try to open or repair the devices yourself.
Disposal
•
Do not dispose the antenna and the optional AC adapter with power inserter with your household
waste. Ask your municipal authorities or local administration how and where to dispose the units
in an environmentally correct manner.
