This product is designed to help overcome EDID/DDC related problems which can occur when using AV/KVM Extenders and Switches. The HDMI EDID Emulator contains preset EDID settings for many commonly used resolutions, refresh rates and audio settings.

If this is not desired or possible, the default values stored in the emulator are used and selected using the EDID Setting Switches as shown below: Cloning EDID from a Monitor 1.
