the direction of travel.
The baby shell is only suitable for use in vehicles, provided
the approved vehicle is equipped with a three-point static or
automatic belt, approved according to UN ECE Regulation No.
16 or some other comparable standard.
The baby shell must not be clamped by the front seats or the
vehicle doors.
Belts must not be twisted or clamped, and must be tight.
The baby shell has been tested during a frontal collision at 31
mph (50 km/h) according to ECE 44/03. After an accident,
the baby shell must be replaced. The baby shell must be
inspected in the factory.
Note! Not permissible on a passenger seat with airbag.
The baby shell must always be fitted in the car in accord-ance
with the installation instructions, even when it is not in use.
In an emergency braking situation, an unfas-tened seat can
cause injuries to the other occupants of the car.
The baby shell must not be altered and the assembly and
operating instructions must be carefully complied with,
otherwise it is not possible to prevent injury when transporting
the child.
