Open the rear battery compartment to check if 9 V battery is in
place.
Switch on unit
Display first shows ID code for approx. 2 secs
834 ManoAir100 with measuring range +/- 2'000 Pa
835 ManoAir100 with measuring range +/- 20 kPa
Display then shows ID code of software for some 10...15 secs, during
which time self-adjustment of pressure sensor takes place.
Reading should be zero afterwards.
If this is not the case, reasons are as follows:
Offset has been performed previously.
Transport shocks may have caused zero drift.
Zero adjustment / Offset
Adjusting the ManoAir100 to ambient conditions is done by
depressing and holding the <Max> key until displayed <MAX> sign
goes off and reading is 0.
Procedure is the same for offsetting the unit for a particular
reference pressure.
Note that reference pressure (base) and measured pressure
combined must not exceed full scale value.
Overload protection is by vent valve as from 0.8 bar.
ManoAir100 is now ready for use.
