Testing for leaks
Check all connections for leaks before use.
Prepare a solution of soapy water using washing-up
liquid. Apply the solution to all valves, hoses and con-
nections including the regulator. Open the regulator.
If there are any leaks, they will form bubbles. Close
the regulator, tighten any leaky connections and re-
open the regulator.
If there are still leaks, contact your dealer immedia- If there are still leaks, contact your dealer immedia-
tely. DO NOT use the heater if there are leaks!
Always perform the leak test with a full gas bottle.
Smoking and use of naked flames are strictly forbid-
den when testing for leaks!
Positioning
Position the heater so that it faces into the centre of
the room at a safe distance from walls and inflam-
mable materials.
Place the heater on a flat, stable surface.
Lighting the gas heater
Open the valve on the gas cylinder. Open the valve on the gas cylinder.
Hold the heat selector (2) in for about 30 seconds
Press the ignition button (1) a few times, while
holding in the heat selector (2) until the pilot flame
in the heating element (4) lights.
Continue holding down the heat selector (2) for
about 30 seconds then turn it to the desired setting:
• Low heat • Low heat
•• Medium heat
••• High heat
Switching the heater off
Turn the heat selector to the 0 position.
Fully close the valve on the gas cylinder.

Changing gas bottles
Ensure the heater is switched off and the gas regu-
lator closed before changing bottles. Change the gas
bottle as described in the regulator user guide.
Check for leaks. (See ‚Testing for leaks').
Fitting hose and regulator
Fit hose and regulator using hose clips as shown in Fit hose and regulator using hose clips as shown in
the illustrations.
NOTE: Gas hose and regulator for 30 mbar must be
DG-marked and suitable for an indoor gas oven.
Supplied with hose and regulator
Cleaning Cleaning
Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
Never use corrosive or inflammable cleaning agents.
