Touch mode
Press the lever downwards. The dis-

pensing tap opens. To close the dis-
pensing tap again, release the lever.
Continuous operation
Push the lever fully downwards. It
‹
locks in this position. The dispensing
tap opens. To close the dispensing tap
again, push the lever upwards.

Meaning

Filling with water

The lid (6) of the water tank (7) lies on top
of the water tank. To remove the lid, pro-
ceed as follows:
Switch off the appliance and allow it
‹
to cool.
Take the teapot (1) off.
‹
Grip the lid with both lid knobs (4) and
‹
lift it off carefully.
Fill the tank with fresh water from the
‹
tap.
WARNING
When removing the lid, steam can es-
cape and cause scalding!
► Before removing the lid, allow the
appliance to cool down.
► Use pot holders to remove the lid.
► Do not fill the tank over the maxi-
mum mark.
To put the lid back onto the appliance, pro-
ceed as follows:
Grip the lid with both lid knobs and put

it back onto the appliance.
