Your new appliance at a glance
a) The control panel
Every actuation of a button is verified by an audible acknowledgement signal. Please activate the buttons
with your fingertips only for damages to be avoided.
b) Initial use
Place the appliance on a heat-resistant, stable and flat working surface and do not operate it in the proximity
of other appliances (electric stove, gas flame etc.). The space above the appliance must be free. The distance
to any wall must be at least 10 cm. Unhindered air circulation has to be ensured.
Connect the appliance to the power supply. There will be a short audible signal, while all displays will remain
off. The appliance is in the stand-by mode now.
c) Switching on
Place a suitable cooking utensil in the middle of the cooking surface and touch the main button until there
is an audible signal. Now the appliance is ready for use, what is verified by the operating mode's LED display
flashing up. Now you can choose between setting the power, the temperature or the time. Having pressed
any of those buttons, the LED display for the operating mode will glow permanently and the appliance will
start operation at power level 1300 W.
d) Switching off
To switch off during use or operational readiness, activate the main button until there is an audible signal and
all the displays extinguish. Now the control is in the stand-by mode.
If the temperature on the cooktop has reached a value of more than 60°C due to the waste heat emitted by
the pot, there will appear an H (for Hot) on the display. If the appliance is disconnected from the mains, this
indication will extinguish.
Note: After an extended use, it is normal for the fan to continue running in the stand-by mode.
COOKING WITH YOUR INDUCTION COOKING PLATE
10 power levels – from 300 W to 2000 W
The appliance always starts operation at power level 1300 W. This is indicated by the value showing on the
display and simultaneous glowing of the "POWER" LED.
By pressing the + button you may increase the power up to 2000 W.
By pressing the – button you may reduce the power down to 300 W.
When pressing either the + or the – button continuously, the power level changes at intervals of 0.5 seconds.
Note: The temperature at the bottom of the cooking utensil is checked by a sensor in the centre of the cooktop.
The maximum tolerable temperature for the power level operating mode is 170°C. Therefore, the power level
operating mode is ideal to boil water or for steaming.
10 Temperature levels - from 60° C to 240° C
Activate the "TEMP" button to change over to the temperature level operating mode. This is signalled by the
value shown on the display and simultaneous glowing of the "TEMP" LED.
The initial value after setting the temperature operating mode for the first time is 120°C.
