Inside temperature: The interior of the appliance has become too warm (e.g. by hindered air supply,
blocked or defective fan or excessive ambient temperature).
Self-help: Clean the air vents or remove any foreign matters possibly located there, improve air supply.
Note: If the error cause is eliminated while error codes E01 or E02 are being displayed, the appliance will
automatically resume operation subject to the previous setting. With regard to all other error code indications,
you will have to reset the control manually by pulling the mains plug.
SAFETY IN HANDLING
• Do not operate the appliance without supervision. The safest method to switch off the unit is pulling the
mains plug.
• Children are not aware of the dangers involved in the handling of electrical appliances. Therefore, never
let children operate electrical appliances unattended.
• Overheated fat or oil may ignite. That is why food containing fat or oil must be prepared under supervision
only.
• If cracks, fissures or breakage is caused and if it may be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible,
immediately turn off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug.
• Do not store any objects on top of the appliance, do not use it as a worktop and do not transport it before
you have disconnected the mains plug.
• Never immerse the appliance in water for cleaning. Please also make sure that no water or steam can
infiltrate from below.
• This electric appliance complies with the relevant safety regulations. If the appliance, the cable or the
sealing is damaged or if the glass plate is broken, disconnect the mains plug immediately.
• Repairs may be effected by authorised specialist shops only. Improper repairs may constitute a considerable
danger to the user!

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Switch off the appliance and pull the mains plug. Remove any coarse residues with a special glass scraper,
which is available with specialised dealers and household equipment shops.
Thereafter, clean the cold glass surface with soapy water and wipe dry with a clean cloth or kitchen tissue.
Cleaning agents suitable for glass cooktops are available on the market. Use a kitchen tissue to treat the
whole glass surface with the lotion by rubbing in as long as there is no soiling visible anymore. Special cleaning
agents to treat the synthetic casing are also available on the market as required.
Never immerse the appliance in water and do not use steam jet appliances. Make sure no water or steam can
infiltrate the appliance from below. Never use abrasives, steel wool or sharp, scratchy objects.
