• During operation, the fill level indicator of the dust bag can be checked on the upper side of the
device. If the red mark is showing in the viewing window, please empty the dust bag.
• Shut the device lid again correctly.
• The output regulator can be used to adjust the device to the desired level of output.
• In addition, the switch controlling the ventilation opening on the curved handle can be opened to
further reduce the suction, should this be required.
• Pull out the power cord to the length required. The yellow marking on the power cord indicates the
ideal length for this. Please, when extending the power cord, do not pull beyond the red marking!
• Plug the device into the mains.
• The power cord should not be exposed to any excessive pull! To avoid such strain during use,
switch off the device for a short time beforehand and find a new power outlet which is closer for the
device.
• The function switch can be used to switch the device on and off.
• When starting to apply suction to objects, especially soft materials, such as textiles. always begin
with a low power suction and gradually increase this as required.
• When the device is used for the first time, there may be slight smoke or odor. This is an entirely
normal process, which should not recur with subsequent usage of the device.
• While in use, the device may be rolled carefully along flat surfaces with the extendable hose.
However, when lifting or carrying the device, always use only the pull-out carry handle on the front
side of the device.
• Switch off the device again, using the function switch.
• Unplug the device from the mains.
• Press the cable rewind button in order to rewind the cable. Be careful when doing so to ensure that
the hose, due to the fast rewind speed, does not inadvertently collide with any person, body part
or other object. If necessary, place the plug in the vicinity of the cable inlet beforehand and hold it
securely.
• For storage, the device can be positioned upright and the attached extendable hose can be
suspended on the clip situated on the underside of the device (the extendable hose must have first
been inserted into the device).
• Always ensure the device is stored in a dry location.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Caution:
Before cleaning the device, open the dust container, remove the dust bag, remove and replace the
filter, disconnect the hose or detach various accessories as necessary, please switch off the device and
unplug from the mains socket!
Maintenance of the vacuum cleaner
• As required, wipe the device housing using a damp cloth. If the device is very dirty, a mild
detergent may also be used.
• Do not use any abrasives, scouring pads or other harsh cleaning materials, which could damage
the outer surfaces of the device.
• Never use petrol or an oil-based cleaner, since these could damage the device housing.
• To ensure the device continues to function smoothly, the dust filter of the device must be regularly
replaced / cleaned. Check this at the same time as the fill indicator on the device lid.
Replacing the dust bag
Caution:
Only use suitable filters, which have designed for use exclusively with this device and are correctly
sized (see technical data).
