Wind and rain detector WRM/2 24V and Rain detector RM/2 24V

Mounting position

Mount the wind and rain detector in an appropriate position on the roof using the mounting bracket. Choose a position as
close as possible to the middle of the roof area so as to avoid gusts at the edge of the roof.

Cable routing

The types of cable to be used must be agreed with the construction management, the local power supply company or the
employer's liability insurance association. For flush mounting use the specified cable types. The specified cable diame-
ters must not be reduced. They are intended for an ambient temperature of 20 °C. For higher temperatures the diameters
should be increased. All cables to the control unit (except mains supply leads) carry 24 V DC and must be routed separa-
tely from the mains supply leads. When routing cables the relevant VDE regulations should be observed.
