The brake is used to stop the motor-sweeper when it is moving and to keep it stationary on slopes.
1. The braking effect is provided by drums acting on the rear wheels.
2. The pedal control 1 (fig. 19) is of mechanical type.
To lock the pedal in the parking position, proceed as follows
–
Push the pedal 1 fully down;
–
Pull the handle 2 (fig. 19) placed on the dashboard

To release the brake, press on the pedal
4.
When the brake tends not to stop the motor-sweeper, adjust the brake using the adjusting 3 (fig. 19) placed on the rear wheels.
The motor-sweeper is steered by means of steering wheel 1 (fig. 18).
The steering wheel requires no adjustment.
