01. Safety instructions

These instructions must be read carefully before put-
ting the appliance into operation or using it and must
always be kept near the place of installation or by the
appliance! The appliance was subjected to extensive
material, functional and quality checks before delivery.
This appliance can nevertheless represent a hazard if
it is not used for its intended purpose or if it is used
inappropriately by persons who have not been trained
to operate it.
In accordance with IEC – 61010, every appliance must
be marked with the following notice for protection
against overvoltage (transients) on the measuring con-
nections:
- Overvoltage category (CAT I, II, III, IV)
- Voltage range (300, 600, 1000 V)
