04. Operation
1. Check the voltage tester each time before use on a
known operating circuit within the permissible vol-
tage range of the device.
2. Hold the detector tip (1) of the voltage tester close to
the cable to be measured. The tip of the appliance
lights up and the audible tone is emitted as soon as
AC voltage is detected.
3. The LED torch is switched on and off via the on/off
switch (5) (4).
There could still be voltage present even if this
is not indicated. Operation may be influenced by
differences in the design of the connecting so-
cket and the thickness and type of insulation.
