Quick Start Guide for USB ETHERNET EXTENSIONS

1 Safety Instructions:
ATTENTION! Only skilled electricians may assemble and disassemble the housing of the product.
ATTENTION! Risk of short-circuit! Never bridge contacts! Do not put things into ventilation slots or ports!
ATTENTION! Risk of injury by stumbling! Attend to safe cable installation!
2 Description and Function:
This USB Ethernet extension is made for extending an USB connection up to 40 m. It supports USB 1.1 and works via Plug & Play without external power supply.
Plug & Play:
It is not necessary to install any driver software from CD-ROM.

3 Connecting and Operating:
1. Plug the USB device into the receiver with USB jack.
Attend to correct fitting.
2. Connect sender and receiver using a 1:1 CAT 5 Ethernet cable.
(not included in delivery).
3. Plug sender with USB plug into an USB slot of your PC/laptop.
Wait until the device is recognized by the computer.
4. Remove all devices and cables after use via "safely removing of hardware".

5 Disposal Instructions:
