LED Transformer 1-15W
Item-No. 57 70 24

Intended Use

The product is an electronic transformer intended for the voltage/power supply to LEDs.
Only LED illuminants with an operating voltage of 12V/DC are to be connected to the LED trans-
former (operation of LEDs that require a ballast for constant current is not possible!)
The electronic transformer supplied is designed for connection to a conventional mains socket
(220-240V~/50Hz).
The product is only to be used in dry indoor locations. It must not get damp or wet.
Use other than that described above can damage the product and may involve additional risks
such as short circuits, fire and electric shocks.
Do not modify or convert any part of the product; never dismantle it.
All the safety and assembly instructions must be carefully followed!

to the product are not permitted. Never dismantle the product.
• The design of the product complies with the safety class II.
• Do not allow children to play with the device. Children cannot assess the dangers
arising from incorrect use of electrical devices. Therefore, be especially careful when
children are around. Only install and use the product out of reach of children.
• Do not expose the product to strong mechanical stress. The product can be
damaged if crushed, struck or dropped, even from a low height.
• Do not expose it to high (>+40°C) or low temperatures (<-10°C), strong vibrations
or direct sunlight.
• Any maintenance or repair work must only be carried out by authorised personnel.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the
industrial workers' society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed!
• You should also heed the additional safety instructions in each chapter of this
manual.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this instruction manual, please
contact our technical support centre or consult a professional.
b) Operation
• This product is only to be installed and used in dry conditions indoors. The product
must be protected from damp and wet, as there is a risk of a fatal electric shock!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room to a
warm one. Condensation that forms might destroy the device. Furthermore, there
is a danger of an electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature, before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it in to use. This may take several hours.
• Do not use the product in rooms or in poor ambientconditions where flammable
gases, vapours or explosive dust may be present or are present! There is a risk of
explosion!
• The product must only be operated with the mains voltage of the public mains supply
(220-240V~/50Hz).
• Never connect the outputs (low voltage) with two or more transformers! This
destroys all transformers and lamps!
• Do not pull the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling on the cable. Always
pull the plug from the mains socket by only gripping the area provided on the side.
• When setting up the product, ensure that the cables are neither bent nor
squeezed.
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If you find any damage, you must not use the product!
If you detect any damage while the product is in use, do not touch the product,
there is a danger of an electric shock!
Switch off the mains voltage at the mains socket to which the power cable is
connected (switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety
fuse). Furthermore, turn off the earth leakage circuit breaker in order to disconnect
all the poles of the mains supply.
Only after this should you can remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
Afterwards, do no use the product anymore, it must be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly way.
