IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Your TIGER smartWATCH has IP classification. The product has undergone certified tests as
part of which its waterproofness and dustproofness was measured. The first digit in the two-
digit IP classification indicates the degree of protection provided against solid foreign bodies
such as dust. The second digit indicates what level of waterproofness the watch has.
•
According to IP classification IP66, your TIGER smartWATCH is waterproof and protected from dust.
•
IP6X: Dustproof. IPX6: Protected against powerful water jets for at least three minutes.
•
Even though your watch is waterproof and dust protected, you should not expose it
unnecessarily to excess dust, sand and mud or use it in moist environments with extremely
high or low temperatures.
•
Never immerse your watch in salt water and never allow the charging pins socket to come into
contact with salt water. If you are on the beach, for example, then keep your accessory away
from sea water. Never expose your watch to liquid chemicals. For example, if you are washing
up crockery by hand and use washing-up liquid to do this, do not allow your accessory to come
into contact with the washing-up liquid. Rinse your watch with fresh water if it has been in
contact with salt water or brackish water.

The watch may become less repellent to dust or moisture as a result of wear and tear or any
damage it may sustain. After the watch has been used in water, dry the areas around the
charging pins.
•
If the microphone of the watch becomes wet, this may impair function until the water has
completely dried. Please note that, depending on the environment, it may take up to three
hours before the watch is completely dry again. Until then, you can continue to utilise other
functions of the watch that do not require a microphone.
•
All accessories, such as the charging station or the Micro USB cable, are not dust protected and
water protected as individual components
•
