3. Tuner Operation

3.1 Scan
Briefly pushing the "Scan"-keys (17,46) increases or decreases the receiving frequency.
Holding down the keys longer (min. 1.5s) starts a scan. The scan stops at the next station.
3.2 How to Store a Station
- Choose the desired station.
- Press "Store"-key (19, 43) and select the desired preset using the keys (18, 32) or the key pad (30).
- To save the selected station press the "Store"-key (19, 43) again.
- The storage process is now completed and you can store the next station.
- You can recall the stored stations using the "Preset"-keys (18, 32) or the keypad (30) on the remote.
In addition, you can use the "ASM"-function (44) on the remote to store all receivable stations in the presets auto-
matically. You can store a maximum of 30 stations.
3.3 Direct Frequency Input
The "Direct"-key (30) on the remote allows to enter the receiving frequency directly.
Press the "Direct"-key (30) and enter desired frequency using the keypad (30).
You always have to enter 5 digits. The frequency is automatically tuned in after the last digit has been entered.
3.4 RDS Display
By using the "RDS"-key (50) you can toggle between displaying either the receiving frequency or the station name.
3.5 Mono/Stereo Selectors
The "MO/ST"-key (45) allows changing into mono receiving mode in order to reduce interference in weak FM sta-
tions.
For permanent mono mode use the "Mono/Stereo"-switch (25) on the rear panel.
