BEFORE FIRST USE

• Remove all packing material and check the product and accessories for damages.
• Clean the device as described in Cleaning and Care. Please observe the safety instructions as well.
Removing the battery protection
The batteries have already been inserted. Remove the battery strips protruding from the battery
compartment in order to operate this device for the first time.

INSERTING BATTERIES

1. This device is operated by two 1.5 V batteries, type AAA. The batteries are included.
2. Open the battery compartment.
3. Insert the two 1.5 V batteries, type AAA into the battery compartment. Pay attention to the correct
polarity (+/-). The labelled side of the battery is the plus side and must face upwards.
4. Insert the battery cover again until it locks in.
5. Replace the batteries at least once per year or, at the latest, when the LCD display shows "Lo".
The "Lo" means that the battery power is low and a battery replacement is necessary.
