• Do not use pans that are unstable and easily tipped. Use flat-bottom pans to ensure full
contact with the hot plate for maximum heat efficiency.
• For a long service life, avoid dropping any items onto the hot plate.
• When using the hot plate for the first time, it may emit some smoke. This is normal and safe.
• Do not use glass containers!
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR HOT PLATE
• Always unplug the unit and allow to cool before cleaning.
• Never immerse in water.
• Clean the hot plate using a soft, damp cloth or a non-abrasive cleaner. Wipe dry.

A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce any hazard resulting from
entanglement or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used with care;
however, the specified electrical rating should be at least equal to the electrical rating
