• Maintenance or repair work for which the protective cover against
microwave radiation must be removed should only be carried out by
a qualified technician.
• Do not heat up liquids or other foods in sealed containers, as they
may explode.
• Only use microwaveable kitchen supplies.
• Never leave the product unattended if you are heating up food in
plastic or paper containers, as they may easily ignite.
• The microwave is designed to heat food and drinks. Drying foods or
clothing and heating up warming cushion, slippers, sponges, damp
textiles and the like can cause injury, ignition and fire.
• Should smoke develop inside the product, turn the appliance off
immediately or pull the mains plug from the wall socket. Keep the
door closed to smother any flames that may be inside.
• Beverages heated in the microwave may subject to delayed boiling, i.e.
the boiling temperature is reached without the typical steam bubbles
that occur during boiling. Any vibrations, such as may develop when
removing the object, may cause the liquid to suddenly boil over. This
poses a risk of scalding! Therefore, exercise extreme caution when
removing containers from the microwave.
• Baby food in bottle and jars heated in the microwave must be well
shaken or stirred. Check the temperature before feeding the baby
food to prevent burns.
• Never heat up eggs with the shell still on or whole hard-boiled eggs
in a microwave. They could explode even after heating is complete.
