DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE

A. Lid
B. Coffee bean container
C. Safety switch
D. Indicator for degree of grinding (only on some
models).
E. GRIND button.
F. Selector switch for the number of cups (only on
some models).
G. Cord tidy.
HOW TO USE YOUR COFFEE GRINDER
• Place the appliance on a flat surface.
• Turn the lid in a clockwise direction and lift it off
(ill.1). Fill the container with the desired amount
of coffee beans (ill. 2).
• Turn the lid to close it, until the arrows on the lid
and appliance are lined up (ill. 3). Only when
the lid is correctly closed can the safety switch
(C) be used to turn it.
• Pull out the length of cord required and plug
into the socket.
• In the models with this, turn the selection knob
(F) to the number of cups you wish to grind (ill.
4). However, this is just a reference, as the
amount will change depending on individual
taste, the type and roasting of the coffee beans
and the degree of grinding selected.
• Press the GRIND button to start the coffee
grinder (ill. 5) and keep it pressed until the right
grinding level is obtained.
• In models with indicator light showing the
degree of grinding (D) - coarse, medium, fine -
press the GRIND button and then release it
when the indicator lights up relative to the
required degree of grinding.
Remember that when the GRIND button is
released, even for a second, the appliance
zeroes and starts grinding again as if there
were whole beans inside.
