Emptying the pulp container
To remove the pulp container for empty-
ing, proceed as follows:
Switch off the appliance and wait until

the motor stops completely.
Pull the lower end of the pulp con-
‹
tainer outwards and remove the pulp
container.
NOTE
► Insert the pulp container as de-
scribed in the section Prior to use
before continuing with juice extrac-
tion.
After using
Switch off the appliance and wait until
‹
the motor stops completely.
Remove the mains plug.
‹
Loosen the locking arm and pull it
‹
downwards.
Remove the pusher and lid.
‹
Pull out the filter and grater attach-
‹
ment.
Remove the collecting bowl and pulp
‹
container.
Clean all parts of the appliance as de-
‹
scribed in the section Cleaning and
care.

Cleaning and care

Before beginning work, pay attention to
the safety instructions in the section on
safety!
Cleaning
Wipe the outside of the drive unit with
‹
a damp cloth.
All other parts can be cleaned in a
‹
warm washing-up liquid solution using
a soft sponge.
Clean the filter and grater attachment
‹
using the brush supplied.
Dried and caked food residues can be
‹
removed more easily if you allow them
to soak in warm washing-up liquid so-
lution for 10 minutes before cleaning.
NOTE
► Strongly coloured foods can dis-
colour the plastic parts. Rub the
affected parts with a little vegetable
oil before cleaning.

Storage

If you do not intend to use the appliance
for a longer period of time, clean it as de-
scribed in the section Cleaning and care.
Store the appliance and all accessory
parts in a dry, clean and frost-free place
where it is protected from direct sunlight
and out of the reach of children.
