1 Drill a hole into the mounting surface to run the antenna cable through and fasten the mounting base
which you centre above the hole using the four screws and the appropriate washers.
Caravan accessories provide appropriate installation kits for the antenna installation. Depen-
ding on the condition of the mounting surface, you can use for the assembly the screws and
anchors enclosed or other suitable fasteners, which can be purchased in stores.
2 Feed the antenna cable through the hole, the mounting base and the antenna base.
3 Connect the antenna cable to the connector on the antenna.
4 Fasten the antenna to the pole mount by using three screws.
5 Put the unit onto the mounting base.
6 Fasten the unit to the mounting base with three screws and washers.
The rubber seal at the bottom of the mounting base should be inserted neatly into its corres-
ponding groove and must lie flat against the mounting surface to ensure that it is waterproof.
c) Installation on boat

1 Remove the antenna base and the antenna cable from the packaging.
2 Feed the antenna cable from below through the opening of the antenna base.
3 Connect the antenna cable to the connector on the antenna and fasten the antenna to the antenna
base with three screws.
4 Screw the unit onto the thread of the installation kit.
Boat accessories provide appropriate installation kits for the antenna installation. The installa-
tion kit must feature a fixing thread size of 1"-14UNC.
Connection
The antenna cable of the antenna may be connected only to the antenna inputs of the
corresponding receivers.
To make sure it is waterproof, place a loop before you feed the antenna cable from the
outside to the inside so that water running down the antenna cable can drip off and can't
get through the bore into the inside.
Use only the power adapter enclosed in the package or the car adapter in combination
with the phantom power adapter, which is also enclosed or the 5 V phantom power
supply of your receiver (if available) to supply the power.
The power adapter may only be powered by a standard mains socket that is connected
to the public supply.
The mains socket to which the power adapter is connected must be near the device and
easily accessible, so that the device can be quickly and easily isolated from the mains
power supply in the event of any fault.
Be careful when handling the mains cables and mains connectors. Mains voltage may
cause fatal electric shocks.
Make sure that the voltage indicated on the power supply corresponds with the mains
voltage of your power supply. Never try to operate the power supply at a different vol-
tage.
When making the connections, make sure that the connecting cables cannot be pinched
or damaged by sharp edges.
The antenna can be powered via the car adapter included (Figure 1), the power adapter included (Figure 2)
or via the phantom power of the receiver (TV or DVB-T receiver) (Figure 3).

(1) Power supplied via car adapter
• Connect the antenna cable to the ANTENNA connector of the phantom power adapter.
• Connect the antenna plug of the phantom power adapter to the input of your receiver.
• Plug the low-voltage plug of the car adapter unit into the DC12-24 V connection of the phantom power
adapter.
• Connect the car adapter to an on-board voltage socket.
• As soon as the phantom power adapter is supplied with current, the red LED goes on.
(2) Power supply via the enclosed power adapter
• Connect the antenna cable to the ANTENNA connector of the phantom power adapter.
• Connect the antenna plug of the phantom power adapter to the input of your receiver.
• Plug the low-voltage plug of the power adapter into the DC12-24 V connection of the phantom power
adapter.
• Plug the power unit into the mains socket.
• As soon as the phantom power adapter is supplied with current, the red LED goes on.
(3) Power supply via the phantom power of the receiver
• Connect the antenna cable of the antenna to the antenna input of your receiver.
• Activate the phantom power of your receiver.
• As soon as the phantom power adapter is supplied with current, the red LED goes on.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Disconnect the product from the mains supply before each cleaning procedure.
• Absolutely prevent wetness or dampness from penetrating into the device.
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these could da-
mage the housing or even impair operation.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product. If the device is very dirty, use a cloth slightly moistened with
lukewarm tap water.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the household
waste.
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
