General informa on

Thank you for your trust in our company and for choosing Room
Temperature Controller CTP-02. In order to enjoy all advantages
of the device, read the Instruc ons before use, in par cular the
sec ons concerning installa on and guarantee. Keep the Instruc-
ons in a safe place and make it available, if necessary.
Introduc on
The equipment is fi rst of all intended for measuring the room
temperature. The controller is also used for a smooth tempera-
ture change in a room. The temperature defi ned in the controller
se ngs can be increased or decreased by 3°C. The temperature
can be adjusted quickly and easily. The equipment works only
with controllers with the latest version of compa ble so ware. It
is supported not only by the main controller but also by CAN I/O
extension modules. Depending on the whole system confi gura-
on you can freely adjust the temperature in each room. The con-
troller is not suitable for use with previous genera on controllers
or devices from other manufacturers.
Handling of used equipment

any charge and subject to recycling.
Correct disposal of used equipment helps protect natural resour-

ment that could accumulate as a result of incorrect storage of
waste.
Informa on on points where used electrical and electronic equip-
ment can be disposed of can be obtained at the representa ve of
local authori es, seller or distributor.

Precau ons
Before you start using the equipment, carefully read
the Instruc ons.
Keep the Instruc ons for Use for future reference.
Observe all rules and warnings given in the Instruc ons
for Use.
Make sure that the equipment is not damaged in any
way. If in doubt, do not use the equipment and contact the
supplier.
If you have any doubt concerning safe opera on of the
equipment, contact the supplier.
Pay special a en on to any warning symbols on the
equipment housing or packaging.
Use the equipment according to its intended use.
The equipment is not a toy. Never let children play
with it.
Under no circumstances can children play with any
part of the equipment packaging.
Prevent children's access to any small parts e.g.
moun ng screws or pins. Such elements can be supplied
with equipment and may cause suff oca on, if swallowed.

General informa on / Connec ng to the system
Never make any mechanical or electrical modifi ca ons
to the equipment that is against eff ec ve standards or could
have nega ve infl uence of the equipment opera on.
Never insert any items to the equipment interior
through the slots (e.g. ven la on slots), as it may cause a
short-circuit, electric shock, fi re or damage to the
equipment.
Never let water, moisture, dust or dirt into the
equipment interior, as it may cause a short-circuit, electric
shock, fi re or damage to the equipment.
Ensure correct ven la on of the equipment, do not
plug or close ven la on holes and ensure free fl ow of air
around the equipment.
Install the equipment indoors.
Never expose the equipment to impact or vibra ons.
When connec ng the equipment make sure that
electrical parameters of the mains network comply with the
opera ng range of the equipment.
All connec ons have to comply with the moun ng
electrical diagram of the system and domes c or local
regula ons related to electrical connec ons.
The equipment does not contain any components that
the user can replace by themselves. Any service ac vi es,
except cleaning or se ng of func ons, should be made by
an authorised service.
Prior to any maintenance ac vi es, remember to
disconnect the equipment from the mains.
Do not use petroleum, solvents or any other chemicals
that could damage the equipment housing. Use a so cloth.
Connec ng to the system
Electrical system
Before you start using the equipment, carefully read the Instruc-
ons.
The person installing the equipment should have technical expe-
rience. Connec ons made with copper wire should be suitable for
opera on up to +75°C.
All connec ons have to comply with the electrical installa on dia-
gram as well as domes c or local regula ons related to electrical
connec ons.
