If you have more than 32 devices, then using a splitter you can connect 32 more
devices. In DMX only systems the number of devices as well as the cable length is
virtually unlimited.
The situation is the same in RDM systems, but the significant difference is that the
communication is bidirectional. This is why DMX RDM SPLITTERs and repeater
have more strict rules than DMX only systems.
Due to the bidirectional communication mode, it is not possible to install one
DMX device between the controller and the spliiter. If a very long cable used in
the system, more splitters can be connected (maximum 4), one after the other.

Functions via USB

The built in USB socket allows to perform a firmware update of the product and to
monitor the DMX data. Both functions can be performed with the same PC software.
