When the remote control is used, care should be taken that there are no objects
between the remote control and the central loudspeaker. (e.g. table, chair, etc.).
These objects prevent the infrared beam of the remote control from reaching the
receiver of the central loudspeaker.. It is then not possible to control the television
with the remote control.
1 MUTE: With this button you can
switch off the loudspeakers without
changing the volume. NOTE: When
switching off this function ensure
that the overall volume is not set to
maximum!
2 CENTRE: With this button you can
select the central loudspeaker. With
the VOLUME/ADJ (6) buttons you
can now adjust the central volume.
3 SUBWOOFER: This button is used
to select the subwoofer. With the
VOLUME/ADJ buttons (6) you can
now adjust the subwoofer volume.
4 L SUR: L SUR: This button is used
to select the left-hand surround
loudspeaker.
With the VOLUME/ADJ buttons (6)
you can now adjust the left-hand
surround loudspeaker.
5 R SUR: The same function as
above, but for the right surround
volume.
6 VOLUME/ADJ: Buttons for volume
adjustment.
7 5.1 IN: Switches on the 5.1 input on
the back of the subwoofer. Any
connected sound source can now
be played back.
8 BYPASS: When this button is pressed the surroundsound function is switched
off. Only the two front loudspeakers (L and R) are switched on! Pressing once
more deactivates this function again.
9 DELAY: With these buttons it is possible to adapt the signal delays during
Prologic operation. This means that in large rooms the sound from the front
loudspeakers may reach the ear later than the sound from the surround louds-
peakers. In this case the sound from the surround loudspeakers must be delay-
ed so that there is an acoustic balance.
10 PROLOGIC: This button switches on the Prologic operation.
